Last June, I posted an article entitled “Morgellon’s – The Possible Result of Transhumanist Experiments”. Since then it has been re-posted by various others at their own blogs and web sites. I am glad it is a subject which is getting attention and so I welcome anyone to do so. I also welcome their added input to the topic since it is one which is utterly ignored in the mainstream and it remains up to us to put together what we have deduced about it.

Recently an individual did a Youtube critique on the article and, in response, there are some clarifications I would like to make about the information contained in it accordingly. It remains my responsibility to be as thorough and clear in what I have written as possible and so, if I have not been, let me try to remedy that.

Here is the original article: http://timenolonger.wordpress.com/2010/06/03/morgellons-the-possible-result-of-transhumanist-experiments/

Here is the Video critique of the article:

The Word “Disease”:

I have used the word “disease” to refer to the collective symptoms of Morgellons. “mfromcanada1″ refutes the term as erroneous because Morgellons shows no evidence of being what is technically defined as a disease. I would agree and I have not used the term to imply that it is a contagious ailment or one which is acquired by transmission of pathogens. The word “disease” was perhaps an option I chose only out of convenience rather than technical precision.

Greater Numbers = Greater Attention and Recognition:

“mfromcanada1″ states that this has not been the case. Perhaps not in the mainstream. I do not expect the medical industry to ever give the kind of attention to Morgellons that will ever ultimately be beneficial to its sufferers. The more attention comes with the general public, who are still the best hope and defense against this problem when it comes to research and spreading the word.

Subdermal Itching:

In mfromcanada1′s experience, there has not been itching but rather the sensation of movement, which I noted was common, and a throbbing sensation. Not all Morgellon’s sufferers have experienced exactly the same feelings and symptoms. Many, perhaps most sufferers I have read about claim an itching. Here are some links that speak on that:

http://health.howstuffworks.com/skin-care/problems/medical/morgellons-disease2.htm

http://www.morgellons.org/life_with.htm

http://www.myweathertech.com/2011/07/18/morgellons-terrifying-new-disease-reaching-pandemic-status/

I want to thank mfromcanada1 for adding the information on the abdominal sensations which, in my search, I had not come across yet. It may be that these fibers will form a mass in the stomach causing those sensations.

Size and Color of Fibers:

I termed the size of the fibers as “tiny”, which mfromcanada1 corrected me in saying that some are quite long. That is true and my description of “tiny” was directed more towards a description of how they are perceived from the surface of the skin as being small in diameter.

The colors that I listed came from the testimony of various sufferers and photos of the fibers available online. I, like most, have to rely upon the data provided by those who have had access to the fibers as I don’t have the condition nor does anyone I personally have access to. There may very well be many more colors I have never seen or heard of.

This is a video showing a yellow/amber fiber: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBpPvNSEdA8

Here is a photo of a red one from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBpPvNSEdA8

Pushing their way through the skin: mfromcanada1 states that they are not pushing their way through the skin but embedded in and on the skin. They are embedded in the skin, however they move also according to the information provided by most sufferers. The fibers will sometimes seem to react to bathing in vinegar by “pouring” out of the skin.

Lesions: mfromcanada1 states that no lesions develop. Perhaps this is her experience, though others have experienced lesions.

nutrasilver.com

It is reasonable that many lesions are caused by people themselves digging out the foreign matter but it does not appear that all these lesions develop this way.

“living with constant crawling, itching and biting sensations.
having skin lesions, some small and superficial, others deep non-healing wounds, which break out all over your body and extrude strange, unidentifiable fibers.
experiencing such cognitive and neurological decline that you are no longer able to work.
watching your children suffer from a disease that is not recognized and has no known cure.
going to your doctor for help and being told that your symptoms are purely psychosomatic.
feeling so physically ill, and feeling so completely alone and abandoned by medicine… “

http://www.morgellons.org/life_with.htm

There is No Cure:

It has been thus far considered to be incurable, but I always believe there is an answer and I also believe that those researching it are able to find it. I just don’t believe that answer will come from doctors.

Segmentation of Fibers:

mfromcanada1 states that there are many many different kinds of fibers. I have no doubt this is so and I do not mean to imply that they are all segmented, but as I stated, what is usually seen or photographed is some variation of a strand which is hollow and appears to contain something that gives it a segmented appearance.

Disinformation:

mfromcanada1 states in a couple of places that the information provided is “disinformation”. I would just like to address what disinformation is and answer to that.

“Disinformation (a translation of the Russian word dezinformatsiya) is intentionally false or inaccurate information that is spread deliberately. For this reason, it is synonymous with and sometimes called black propaganda. It is an act of deception and false statements to convince someone of untruth. Disinformation should not be confused with misinformation, information that is unintentionally false.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinformation

It is most certainly not the case that I or anyone who has written for TNL is intentionally spreading false information or attempting to further the propaganda that is a widespread agenda in all media these days. Our only wish is to supply what truth we have and what evidence we have as well as we can. Morgellons is not a condition which is touched in the mainstream, all the information I can give is what sufferers have given and my own theories based upon their evidence. If there is Misinformation, it is honest error, but there is certainly no disinformation.

Hollow Polysaccharide Filaments:

mfromcanada1 asks from where this information comes. Here is the source of that research:

“These banded motile strands can be a variety of colorations but always shades of brown to brown/black and clear to white. These fibers were named “sugar snakes” by a researcher who determined they were polysaccharide strands from tests he performed in the lab at SUNY at Stony Brook.”

http://www.morgellonsexposed.com/pjMotileSugarSnakes.htm

Fruit Flies:

I have noted that many sufferers report being swarmed by fruit flies.mfromcanada1 says this has never happened to her, which may be so. It has been the experience of many others, though. Some links to the testimony of others:

http://www.morgellonsuk.org.uk/flyexperiences.htm

http://morgellonsgroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=miscresearch&action=display&thread=2869

http://www.morgellons-disease-research.com/Morgellons-Message-Board/morgellons-syndrome/4282-fruit-flies.html

Agrobacteria:

I have stated that morgellons fibers come back positive for Agrobacteria Tumefaciens which mfromcanada1 states is not true. Perhaps because there is an assumption that what I am saying is that people are contracting a bacteria which causes Morgellons through natural communicable disease pathways. I am not. Agrobacteria is used in genetically modified food to transfer the genetic material of one organism into the cells of another. it is found in GMO produce.

“Vitaly Citovsky, Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Stony Brook University in New York, discovered the fibers contained the substance Agrobacterium Tumafaciens, the bacteria causing crown gall disease in plants (formation of tumors in more than 140 species of dicot plants). It is a genus of gram-negative bacteria capable of genetically transforming not only plants, but also other eukaryotic species, including humans.

Anonymous samples were provided to Professor Citovsky by the Morgellon’s Research Foundation to use in investigating the potential presence of Agrobacterium Tumafaciens in biopsies from Morgellon’s patients. Control reactions included samples provided by healthy donors. Only Morgellons, not healthy subjects, tested positive for the bacterium in these studies.

Professor Citovsky issued a statement saying his observation does not imply that Agrobacterium Tumafaciens causes Morgellons, or that Morgellons is indeed an infectious disease. However, he has called for further study to determine (1) statistical significance of data, (2) whether the bacterium is not only present extracellularly, but also causes genetic transformation of the infected tissues, and (3) whether infection of laboratory animals with the bacterium can recreate symptoms of Morgellons.”

Antibiotics:

mfromcanada1 states it cannot be a bacteria because antibiotics do not work. First I want to say that this article does not propose that agrobacteria is the Cause of Morgellons. Genetic modification is being proposed as the cause and agrobacteria is simply the vector for the foreign DNA. Secondly, the bacteria, even if it were killed by antibiotics would not stop the symptoms of the fibers being present. Wikipedia says this concerning Agrobacteria:

“The genes to be introduced into the plant are cloned into a plant transformation vector that contains the T-DNA region of the disarmed plasmid, together with a selectable marker (such as antibiotic resistance) to enable selection for plants that have been successfully transformed. Plants are grown on media containing antibiotic following transformation, and those that do not have the T-DNA integrated into their genome will die. An alternative method is agroinfiltration.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agrobacterium

I would like to conclude by saying that I hope this information is taken for what it is, an attempt to help people and help make them make the connections they need to make to learn more. If it leads to better information than what I can currently deduce, that is the goal.

One commentor to the video replied: “In reading this article it almost seems as if they want to push the screws in psychologically to those who have Morgellons and those that love them. It seems it is designed to cause fear. I’m so glad you have such foresight and you can see thru their lies”

I admit I don’t understand that response or why it would ever be assumed we are trying to instill fear or lie. Check the evidence I have provided. If I am wrong, it is an honest error, but we, like all of you, are simply out there looking to find the answer. The more who are, the better the odds of one being found. I am glad for you, mfromcanada1, because you are searching for the truth and I hope you can see that we are only doing the same.

Modern Nephilim: Addressing the Pink Elephant

Posted in 05 : Generations X with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 07/24/2011 by timenolonger

In the recent years, a genuinely good thing has happened in the body of Messiah. Many believers have begun to take the lesser taught sections of His word seriously, and search them out in light of the things taking place in the world now.

Since we can sadly track the degradation of church leadership, it’s encouraging when there’s a revival of basic biblical study.

This has led many Christians to take a second look at obscure prophecies and records like 1 Enoch, Jubilees and certain long overlooked passages in the canon.

Multitudes now understand what nephilim are and where they came from.

I’ve been waiting for the backlash though… Satan never lets a genuinely good thing slide by without having a stab at it.

As often happens when some piece of information comes to light on a growing scale, there come those who set themselves center stage to address the issue and become the loud voices of “authority” on the matter.

The subject of modern nephilim has attracted its own center-stagers… their foremost claimed purpose being to minister to victims of alien abduction and SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse).

I can’t possibly speculate on the true intentions of those who have taken on this… YHWH knows them, but I have serious concerns with the results.

I also won’t bother to name the sources of what I’ve read. They aren’t difficult sources to find on the internet, and most likely anyone really wanting to know could find out – I just have a personal hesitation to sling names.

Aside from this, the big sources I have found backing the opinions I’ll address almost certainly are followed by many lesser known personalities who have adopted the view point.

First, to clarify my own standing on these questions:

Are there people of nephilim descent alive on earth currently?

Yes. I’d find it difficult to not call the alternative impossible by looking at the Bible alone for evidence. Scripture pointedly calls the inhabitants of the Promised Land at the time of Israel’s arrival “nephilim”. They were not all eradicated. What else could happen but that they absorbed into the world population?

Is there a current resurgence of fallen angels procreating in some fashion with human women?

The evidence says yes. The testimony of countless victims of abduction scenarios, black op programs and SRA, coupled with more than one plainly stated Biblical prophecy concerning just this situation in the end times, must reasonably be weightier than the academic speculation of those who deny it.

Is there salvation possible for those of nephilim descent?

Most people should probably hope so if the answer to question 1 is valid… and based on the following verse alone, I’d answer yes:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is immersed will be saved. But he who does not believe will be condemned.”

- Mark 16:15,16

This stand on the subject (particularly in combination) seems to be a pretty unpopular one.

The loud voices in the arena have uniformly taken positions which do not have to deal with extending unsavory notions of salvation to “abominations”… nor having to face any individual with a message of unavoidable condemnation.

The first idea is contradictory to human nature… the second idea is contradictory to Christianity. There seems to be a fence that’s being ridden to death in this matter.

The loudest voice out there has what is termed a “Ministry” that is set forth as one offering a message of hope to those who have claimed to be nephilim, or descended from such.

This outreach counsels those who have testimony of abduction experiences, women who have claimed to have been impregnated by fallen angels, etc.

At first glance, it appears like something its not. The message is emblazoned across the site boldly proclaiming salvation for these people. Prepare to be confused if you keep reading the site though… finally it declares that no such things exist.

It is, perhaps, the most pointless declaration of the gospel I’ve ever seen. It reaches an anticlimax of none effect as it denies the claims of those who have come for counseling. It concludes in a negation of its own existence on the internet by basically stating “nephilim can be saved… because there aren’t any.”

The same group which is behind the above mentioned site, has as its explanation for the testimony of abductions a completely fabricated “vision” given to abductees.

A vision given to the end that the combined effort of smoke and mirrors will result in people who are either 1. rejecting of those they believe are nephilim or 2. people who believe they have no chance of redemption because they are nephilim.

There is no effort made to provide better evidence for this view at all. It’s simply stated as a “belief”. Beliefs, I’ve come to realize, are worthless things to have.

I don’t think Christians “believe” in a Creator, We Know there is One. We have good evidence of it in our own experience. A belief is a whim without evidence, something that just “sounds right”.

On the other hand, there are these individuals who have experienced things first hand, things which are incredibly difficult for them to bring to public light, especially when it is wrapped around concerns of their own salvation. As I see it, no one who has no first hand evidence of their own needs to add their speculation to the scales when the evidence is weighed.

There have been plenty of rebuttals which have come forth from various sources addressed to those who put forth the above site and theories.

These generally take seriously the claims of abductees and SRA victims (which is good).

They do believe there is a current resurgence in the admixture of fallen angel and human, though they do not seem to want to approach the issue of an ongoing lineage of such in the world. There’s a good reason for this… so far I have not seen a single source argue that there is a salvation option for any existing hybrids.

If any of these sources were to maintain that position in light of the possibility of actually meeting any… that would certainly put them in a rough spot. There’s probably little hope for the ministry who would condemn a person because they believed them to be hybrid.

One source neatly covered the issue by simply stating that hybrids do exist – But if a person was even interested in coming to salvation… that Must mean they are not hybrid.

That, again, stands on speculation. Is there some way this person could possibly know the ability of anyone but himself to want salvation?
Even the fallen Watchers pleaded with Enoch to petition YHWH on their behalves. What would make every single nephil uninterested in reconciliation to the Creator?

It’s a big Pink Elephant.

There are uncomfortable ideas in all of this and people really don’t like to address uncomfortable ideas. Generally an “us and them” mentality feels best to human nature.

If there’s no “them”, people tend to feel there’s less to esteem about “us”. It’s having to face the blackness of our own individual sins that makes it uncomfortable to put “them”on equal footing in some way. It’s more a comfort to tiptoe around some glaring evidence, to deny a necessity to address some point by simply speculating it out of existence.

If someone out there Really wants to be a ministry to help these people, it’s going to mean facing the elephant, regardless of what it looks like to the popular mind set.

As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

And in the days of these kings ‘Eloah of the sky will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people.

It shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever.

Hard Times on Easy Street

Posted in 11 : Labor Pains with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 06/02/2011 by timenolonger

Has your life recently grown more difficult? This may be theory right now.. but based upon the mounting evidence for it.. I’d say it could become law soon.

As believers we are all, so to speak, on ‘Easy Street’.. we have eternal life in our Savior.. and that makes our lives much easier than the lives of the lost.. we have the liberation in Messiah that slaves to sin have yet to know. We pray those bound to sin will come to know, sooner than later, that redeeming freedom from death.

Believers will have tribulation.. that is fact.. and we are to count it all joy.. and that can be difficult.. but as for going through daily life.. we have it easy.

We are protected by the saving blood and resurrection of Yahushua our Messiah.. and we have been empowered by His Holy Spirit to know and speak truth in love.

The path believers have taken is described in scripture as narrow, and hard to find.. and we know this is true.. the world is filled with gaping invitations to run the road to ruin.. and charting a path through this earthly tangle of sin is not easy.. the path to salvation is narrow, but it’s there, waiting and open for travelers.. though walking it takes Divine intervention.

But once we as believers have taken the high road of salvation.. we are free in our Savior.. and that liberty in Him, we all know, has made our lives much easier. It’s the times, i think we’d all agree, which have grown harder.. these are evil days.. full of turmoil, destruction and general uneasiness.. lots of little things in people’s lives have begun to mount.. and that mountain, for many, has begun to crumble.

Through our faith in Yahushua we could fearlessly enter the fiery furnace or calmly sleep with the lions.. we could face any unwarranted attack from the enemy with firm resolve in simply knowing and accepting that we, as believers, are protected. But we are not perfect.. and, even if we do not willfully continue in it, we will fall into sin at times.. and those times, now more than ever in our lives, are causes for concern.

It’s not the sin that should be more concerning than before.. it’s the ramifications of sin committed in a world where the enemy has us surrounded, and is closing in on our camp.

In believers’ lives, the effects of sin are becoming more dangerous than ever.. and I’d imagine these dark days have found many of us re-assessing our situations a lot more frequently than we had before.

We all have seen the tightening of the belts holding up the financial industry.. companies pursuing even small credit lapses.. natural gas companies cutting people off in winter when their bills are barely two months behind.. merchants instituting a maze of individually-identifying red tape before they give out a refund.

Of course, it hasn’t stopped there.. amidst the world-wide disaster strikes and skyrocketing levels of geo-political unrest.. the industry of government has feverishly begun sewing together all its loose ends as well.. closing off the exits on every possible avenue of freedom.. creating invisible-barred virtual prisons where people are unwittingly put to hard labor in mental slavery camps which appear to be ‘just life’.

I think Bob Marley put it well with his words “the Babylon system is a vampire.. sucking the blood of the sufferers..”

And now, and more each day, in this world where there is a major earthquake, flood, fire or something weird practically each week – we as believers have got to stand ready in our lives.

My personal life re-assessments have found me ready for the lions of the den – but unprepared for the mice of the field.

Bush (the band, of course) recorded a song with the line “It’s the little things that kill.. tearing at my brain again.. little things that kill..” and i think that now those words have rung most true. Our little sins.. like neglect.. like over-confidence.. they are the mice in the field.. and when they find us, they begin to gnaw.. not just at the visible tethers of our physical lives.. but they eat away at our unseen spiritual strength as well.

Our world is getting more evil, and everything wrong we do seems to carry much more weight than it did before.. and we know the only solution is to seek the counsel and instruction of our Savior. The days of dancing down the street singing are behind us perhaps, for now. The road is rocky and full of pitfalls.. and getting worse, most especially when we are at fault through those so-called ‘little’ sins. This is my theory, but of believers, i dare say, there’d be few who reject it.

Friends.. get your houses in order.. tie up the seams you have turned your head against in the past.. love each other without portion, and above all.. stay in our Master’s company.. read His word.. do His will.. be as close to without reproach as possible.. live like today is your last without living like today is the only day.

Our daily futures certainly don’t need to be mapped to nausea, but we do need a ‘game plan’.. because the game is on, it seems (if it’s not.. then we are even worse off than we think) – and the penalties for crossing the lines have gotten harsher.. and will continue.. until we, the believers on Yahushua, are openly the enemies.. and then it will be the worst.

Hard times on Easy Street.. I think we are probably there.. and I think if that is the case.. then what we will find on farther up the road is going to be times even harder.. until there is time no longer.. we believers are being tested.. let Yahushua bring us all out shining like gold.. turn every stone in your life.. consider sin – and run from it like it’s the plague.

Take care of the little things in life that can be controlled.. because the rest of the things we can’t control are hurtling toward us at increasing size and speed.. escape the avalanche with the simple and protective faith you have in our Savior.. do His will to the fullest daily.. He has said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and we know that to be true.

Don’t forget the little things.. these are dark days and hard, but Yahushua will surely bring us through them.

Remember Joel:

{1:1} The word of Yahuwah that came to Yo’el the son of Pethuw’el.

{2} Hear this, you elders, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land! Has this happened in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

{3} Tell your sons about it, your sons their sons, and their sons another generation.

{4} What the chewing locust left, the swarming locust has eaten. What the swarming locust left, the crawling locust has eaten. And what the crawling locust left, the consuming locust has eaten.

{5} Awake, you drunkards, and weep. And wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the new wine, for it has been cut off from your mouth.

{6} For a nation has come up against My land, strong, and without number. His teeth the teeth of a lion and he has the fangs of a fierce lion.

{7} He has laid waste My vine and ruined My fig tree. He has stripped it bare and thrown it away. Its branches are made white.

{8} Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

{9} The grain offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of Yahuwah. The temple officials mourn, who minister to Yahuwah.

{10} The field is wasted, the land mourns, for the grain is ruined, the new wine is dried up, the oil fails.

{11} Be ashamed, you farmers! Wail, you vinedressers, for the wheat and the barley, because the harvest of the field has perished.

{12} The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered. The pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field are withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.

{13} Gird yourselves and lament, you temple officials. Wail, you who minister before the altar. Come! Lie all night in sackcloth, you who minister to my ‘Eloah, for the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your ‘Eloah.

{14} Consecrate a fast. Call a sacred assembly. Gather the elders, all the inhabitants of the land to the house of Yahuwah your ‘Eloah, and cry out to Yahuwah.

{15} Alas for the day! For the day of Yahuwah is at hand. It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.

{16} Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our ‘Eloah?

{17} The seed shrivels under the clods, storehouses are in shambles, barns are broken down, for the grain has withered.

{18} How the animals groan! The herds of cattle are restless because they have no pasture. Even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment.

{19} O Yahuwah, to You I cry out, for fire hasdevoured the open pastures and a flame has burned all the trees of the field.

{20} The beasts of the field also cry out to You, for the water brooks are dried up and fire has devoured the open pastures.

{2:1}Blow the trumpet in Tsiyown and sound an alarm in My sacred mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of Yahuwah is coming. For it is at hand!

{2} A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been, nor will there ever be any after them, even for many successive generations.

{3} A fire devours before them and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the Garden of ‘Eden before them and behind them a desolate wilderness. Surely nothing shall escape them.

{4} Their appearance is like the appearance of horses and like swift steeds, so they run.

{5} With a noise like chariots, over mountaintops theyleap, like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, like a strong people set in battle array.

{6} Before them the people writhe in pain, all faces are drained of color.

{7} They run like mighty men. They climb the wall like men of war. Every one marches in formation and they do not break ranks.

{8} They do not push one another. Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down.

{9} They run to and fro in the city. They run on the wall. They climb into the houses. They enter at the windows like a thief.

{10} The earth quakes before them. The skies tremble. The sun and moon grow dark and the stars diminish their brightness.

{11} Yahuwah gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great, for the executor of His word is strong. For the day of Yahuwah is great and very terrible. Who can endure it?

{12} “Now therefore,” says Yahuwah, “turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

{13} So rend your heart and not your garments. Return to Yahuwah your ‘Eloah for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He relents from doing harm.

{14} Who knows if He will turn and relent and leave a blessing behind Him, a grain offering and a drink offering for Yahuwah your ‘Eloah?

{15} Blow the trumpet in Tsiyown, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly,

{16} gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the sons and nursing babes. Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber and the bride from her dressing room.

{17} Let the temple officials, who minister to Yahuwah, weep between the porch and the altar. Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Yahuwah, and do not give Your heritage to reproach that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their ‘Eloah?’”

{18} Then Yahuwah will be zealous for His land and pity His people.

{19} Yahuwah will answer and say to His people, “Behold! I will send you grain and new wine and oil and you will be satisfied by them. I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

{20} But I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his back toward the western sea. His stench will come up and his foul odor will rise because he has done monstrous things.”

{21} Fear not, O land! Be glad and rejoice, for Yahuwah has done marvelous things!

{22} Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field, for the open pastures are springing up and the tree bears its fruit. The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

{23} Be glad then, you sons of Tsiyown, and rejoice in Yahuwah your ‘Eloah, for He has given you the autumn rain faithfully and He will cause the rain to come down for you. The autumn rain and the spring rain in the first month.

{24} The threshing floors shall be full of wheat and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

{25} So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

{26} You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of Yahuwah your ‘Eloah Who has dealt wondrously with you, and My people shall never be put to shame.

{27} Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Yisra’el. I am Yahuwah your ‘Eloah and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame,

{28} and it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

{29} And also on menservants and on maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

{30} And I will show wonders in the sky and in the earth. Blood and fire and pillars of smoke!

{31} The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahuwah.

{32} And it shall come to pass whoever calls on the name of Yahuwah shall be saved. For in Mount Tsiyown and in Yeruwshalaim there shall be deliverance, as Yahuwah has said, among the remnant whom Yahuwah calls.

Who are “The Two”?

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 04/14/2011 by timenolonger

In this recycled era of ‘anything goes’ because ‘it’s all a blur’ temporary trends have remained a constant.. even (and perhaps especially) among ministries.. trends viewed in retrospect however are often disturbing to those who once partook.. ‘I can’t believe I ever wore.. bellbottoms.. platforms.. black eyeliner.. jelly shoes..’ etc.

One of the disturbing trends currently circulating through ministries involves a line in Matthew 18:19 which states:

‘..if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven’.

This line is used often in prayers for others in a way that indicates to the person for whom the prayer is being said that ‘I’m praying for you – and you and I both agree that you should have that financial breakthrough.. new car.. better job.. etc. therefore our Father will definitely provide it to you’.

That may be a nice thought with good intentions and probably goes over well on 24-hour prayer lines.. but what exactly is the case – who exactly are the ‘two’ in agreement.. and what exactly about their agreement constitutes the will of our Father in Heaven?

Examining the line in context..

19: Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

It’s important to note here that Yahushua is addressing His disciples.. people who believed on Him.. people ‘gathered together in His name’. One could say ‘..if two [gathered together in Yahushua's name] agree on earth.. it shall be done..’

But there is a strong indication from ministries these days that essentially any ‘two people’ can agree on earth concerning anything they ask.. and therefore guarantee it will be delivered to them.

It is an idea that utilizes scripture but changes the intended meaning.. and it comes off sounding more like an occult incantation than it does a humbled supplication.. hence of course its popularity.

One might argue that it only applies if the two doing the asking are gathered together in Messiah’s name.. for example one believer and one non-believer can assemble but the request wouldn’t be granted because there is only one believer doing the asking.. but we know from Matthew 6:6 that this is not the case..

‘..when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.’

We know our Father in Heaven has rewarded us openly many times for those prayers we have asked of Him by ourselves in secret.

So then.. who are the ‘two’ in 19.. and who are the ‘two or three’ in verse 20.. and why is Yahushua making plurality an issue when we know that even our individual silent prayers to the Father in Him are answered?

The simple answer is that the first person in all three equations must be the Holy Spirit.

‘But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send(1) in My name(2), He(3) shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you(4).’

- John 14:26

We see in this verse 4 basic things..
1: The Holy Spirit is sent from our Father in Heaven
2: The Holy Spirit is sent in Yahushua’s name
3: The Holy Spirit is referred to as ‘He’
4: The Holy Spirit confirms Yahushua

The Holy Spirit is commonly known as a ‘person’:

.. and regarded as one in scripture.. an example being that the Holy Spirit can and has been ‘grieved’..
Isaiah 63:10 ‘..they rebelled, and vexed His Holy Spirit’
‘vexed’ in this verse is the Hebrew ‘atsab’ which means ‘grieved’.
Ephesians 4:30 ‘..grieve not the Holy Spirit of Yahuwah’

The Holy Spirit also dwells within His believers:

Isaiah 63:11 ‘..where is He that put His Holy Spirit within them?’
Luke 11:13 ‘..how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?’

The Holy Spirit is the person abiding in each believer on Yahushua:

It is specifically Yahuwah’s Holy Spirit which He has given to those who are His in Messiah.. 1Thessalonians 4:8 ‘..Yahuwah, who has also given us His Holy Spirit’

It is Yahuwah’s own Holy Spirit and therefore is only in complete agreement with Him.. the same way Yahushua ‘the express image’ [Hebrews 1:3] of Yahuwah is likewise only in complete agreement with Him..

In other words.. ‘..there are Three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these Three are One’. 1John 5:7

To agree with the Holy Spirit is to agree with the Father and the Word [Yahushua is the Word John 1:14].. Our individual spirit should be in agreement with His Holy Spirit.. regardless of the number of the assembly and not just when we pray but always.

The ‘magic charm’ idea that two people can agree on earth concerning anything they ask and it will be done for them is dangerous..

It asserts an idea that removes the Holy Spirit, and thus the Father and the Word [Yahushua], from the equation by implying that ‘the two in agreement’ is constituted simply by two individuals – when in fact the ‘two’ is comprised of the Holy Spirit + the spirit of the believer.

Ministries these days sadly are rife with prosperity doctrines.. seed-sowing.. church-planting and so much more that leaves out our Savior.. it’s good to remember the promise we have been given as believers on Him ‘..for He has said I will never leave you, nor forsake you’ and we know even when we are by ourselves we are never alone.. and that our prayers – even if solitary – which are in agreement with His Holy Spirit will certainly be given us by our Father in Heaven.

Witnessing 101

Posted in 01 : The Chief Cornerstone with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 04/09/2011 by timenolonger

The single most important thing, we as believers, will ever do aside from accepting our Savior ourselves, is bring His message to others.

The pure and simple foundation of our redemption, the Gospel, is the weightiest subject matter in the entire body of the scriptures.

Having an eternal impact on every single being accountable to a moral standard… what we do with the Good News is ultimately the measure of what kind of servant we were for Him.

Some of us are naturally more outspoken than others, and so that difference means that we will each have our own level of comfort when it comes to witnessing to strangers… or even those we know well.

There is no need to feel disabled by an innate level of shyness, however.

Even the most introverted and non-confident believer should understand that, if nothing else, the Gospel is the one thing in which he or she can have perfect confidence.

What is, unfortunately, often mislabeled as shyness is a sense of shame… a self-consciousness which comes from a desire for personal acceptance the believer feels might be lost if they share the truth with another.

There is a great deal of danger in being this sort of believer, not only to the cause of witnessing, but the entire relationship between the individual and his or her Elohim.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the splendor of His Father with the sacred messengers.

- Mark 8:38

We can never excuse ourselves from the task put to us… to be the light in a dark world. Being that light not only means being able to communicate His message to others, but to do that correctly.

There is one simple difference between witnessing correctly and incorrectly, and that difference is directly tied to the motive we have for witnessing the Gospel.

Correct witnessing of the Gospel is much more about the why than the how… the reason we want to tell others the Good News, should obviously be the same reasons Yahushua wants us to tell others.

That every instance wherein we open our mouths and speak His message to another is a moment with eternal impact aught to put us in mind that we are literally becoming a part of that person’s eternal future, whatever it will be.

If we do this in any other spirit but His… a spirit of deep concern, compassion and genuine desire to see someone enter into His Kingdom… we have already failed.

The motive, too often, among believers is far more utilized like a call to battle with the lost person who is receiving the message.

It becomes a boxing match of clever words and memorized arguments, the goal of which is someone coming out “the victor”.

If the lost remain lost… no matter how cleverly you’ve stated your argument… there is no “winner”, instead you leave a lost individual embittered against the subject to a degree which will throw up road blocks in the face of the next to attempt to evangelize.

Remember, the lost don’t need to hear how well educated you are… they need to know that there is a Creator who cares for them.

The correct and incorrect reasons to witness are, very simply, compassion or pride.

The why will always mean much more than the how… but after you have witnessed His message to a variety of individuals you will quickly learn that there are various stands that the lost will take as their reasons for living a life apart from Him.

Being able to understand those positions and relate to how people came to hold them is an integral part of being genuinely concerned for the individual.

The lost must, by the very nature of their “lostness”, practice a certain level of dishonesty with themselves. This being the case… they are not able to be any more honest with you than they’ve been with themselves.

Spiritual discernment is crucial… that ability every believer has to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit can tell you much more about what makes the lost person tick than any words he or she will say.

There’s no possibility of putting every individual into a category… there will always be people who defy the usual, but there have been in my experience, very often repeated versions of certain types of unbelievers.

Here is what I’ve learned from them, which might in some way help others to understand their positions and what they need to hear (or not hear) from believers.

The Intellectual Atheist:

A case of seeming like everything they are not. These are those people who are a student of every kind of evolutionary science man has to offer.

They have spent hours reading books, taking classes and watching documentaries that bolster their faith in a theory of macro evolution.

Having done so and properly memorized every term and one-line argument that sounds intelligent… they are literally self-trained to wage verbal war with believers.

That is precisely what they have done… though you will never come across an Intellectual Atheist who will admit that all this time spent was for the sole purpose of disproving a Creator to themselves and others… that’s exactly what it is.

Atheism is a faith built of shaky ground, therefore it requires such maintenance as to seek out those who believe in a Creator and continually strengthen their own resolve by “winning” verbal wars with them.

As a believer, you will never effectively witness to these by engaging in those battles. It doesn’t matter how well you have researched the data and know that the “science” behind evolutionary theory is flawed… you will not convince them.

They have a desire in which they have invested a great deal of time, pride and desperate hope… their reasons are deeply emotional and your arguments threaten, what is to the defense mechanisms of their mind, a matter of survival.

They have a Need to not believe in Him… that need can stem from a place of having suffered terrible trauma which they can not or do not want to reconcile with the existence of a loving Creator.

It can also stem from a deep attachment to a lifestyle which is not morally sound… their resistance to Him is a resistance to accountability for sins they do not want to admit they commit.

Intellectual Atheists do not need an intellectual response… they require the knowledge that there is, in fact, a loving Creator Who is both worth living for (even if it’s difficult) and Who has promised justice to all those who cling to Him.

The Emotive Atheist:

While the Intellectual Atheist uses a necessary screen of shallow indifference to conceal his or her intense dislike of the concept of a Creator, the Emotive Atheist doesn’t bother hiding the fact that he or she despises the idea of an Almighty Elohim.

This person is outwardly angry, bitter, and tends to be a rather unpleasant person with whom to try to witness the Gospel. The arguments of Emotive Atheists normally revolve around their perceived lack of “fairness” of YHWH’s nature as presented in scripture.

These will often accuse Him of being tyrannical, violent and war-loving… they will mention His “indifference” to the suffering in the world and His general lack of compassion as they see it.

They’ll also not hesitate to call the believer a variety of insults for having faith in such a Creator.

Emotive Atheists are usually deeply hurt individuals. There is often terrible abuse in their past… not unlikely administered by their own parents or some other adult who was looked up to or trusted in their formative years.

Their raging anger is often towards that abusive parental figure and a Creator who, in their understanding, did nothing to save them from it.

Witnessing to an Emotive Atheist is normally done best in the shortest amount of time you can possibly spend on it for at least the initial attempt.

Anything which becomes a long ‘give and take’ will only allow the person to shut his or her ears and open their mouths in the familiar output of venomous hatred which is their defense.

Again… these need to understand that we follow an Elohim who is all about love and justice… even when, in our shortsightedness, we can’t see it immediately manifest.

Give them the option to come talk about it with you… but take care not to pursue.

The Pagan/ Pantheist:

Many believers might be under the impression that the worship of pagan deities is a thing of the distant past… but that couldn’t be more wrong.

Particularly in the recent decades, people have been more and more drawn to what they consider “older” faiths than Judeo-Christian beliefs.

There is a certain level of self perceived “enlightenment” in following after a “god” who is attached to romanticized notions of an ancient past. There is definitely a “fad” feeling to the modern adherents of pagan worship.

These individuals normally have very little actual knowledge of the faith they profess in their chosen deity… they generally don’t investigate what history has to say about those who, in the ancient past, gave homage to these beings.

The attraction of worshiping a pagan deity is often the sense of being able to choose among an extensive pantheon of beings to find the “right god for me”.

When that deity is chosen, even the peculiar attributes which are supposedly applied to them undergo a distinct adjustment by the whim of the pagan who chose them to further suit their own likes and dislikes.

You will find most Pagans/ Pantheists are quite unwilling to venture into the darker histories of the worship of their chosen being. Few want to admit that they bow to a creature who demanded child sacrifice or who tends to be more or less indifferent to their subjects wants and needs.

Modern Pagans know not what they worship… they simply have chosen a poor alternative solution to their very real need for a Heavenly Father.

They have done so in the most shallow and sin-friendly way available. A mystical, spiritual “experience” + a designer “god” + the ability to write their own moral code or live without one entirely.

These individuals have often been put off from Christianity by bad examples thereof. They have experienced rejection, poor teaching and a lack of understanding in churches or from representatives of Christian faith.

They want and need YHWH… but they are wholly disillusioned by how He has been presented to them.

They are not unlikely to also have attachments to morally questionable lifestyles which they are reluctant to give up or be convicted of. What they will certainly not have experienced in their choice of a deity is real love and an active interest in their lives.

What the Pagan needs to hear from us are good, sound reasons to logically conclude we serve a King above all Kings, that He is the One and the Only Being called Elohim who is a true Creator and loves His creation.

They need to understand that we, just like them, and every “Christian” they have ever met… are sin-natured beings and that our mistakes are not His.

The Unitarian/ New Age Collectivist:

I consider the Unitarian or Collectivist philosophy to be one of the more dangerous ones. This idea is founded on very ancient roots, but manifests in a very modern way to people who adhere to it.

I call this the Religion for Junior Luciferians.

Completely ignorant of why this concept exists or what its ultimate purpose in the world is, the people who believe in it are pawns of something much darker and more sinister than they could imagine.

Unitarianism might be defined as a separate entity from New Age Collectivism by many to adhere to one or the other.

Unitarianism is an “everything that equals nothing” faith. The lure of it is supposedly its wide tolerance for… whatever. Anything you decide to believe is true is fine… as long as you think everything you don’t want to believe is also fine for those who do believe it.

It means nothing except that you become tolerant of everything… except what is exclusive. The truth being, by nature, exclusive, simply means that there’s nothing you’re not allowed to believe as Unitarian… except the truth.

Collectivism is not much different… it’s just dressed up as more spiritual, sometimes adorned with the seriously weird and fantastic, but it ends in the same place.

You are subject to a concept that not just allows… but demands that you conform to a wide tolerance of everything except exclusive truth.

Those that have bought into either one of these ideas have done so in an outward attempt to be progressive, peaceful, more evolved, and unified in some idea of global brotherhood with all humanity.

The tolerance to which these ideas owe their call to arms is typically turned inside out. At the core of the matter… Unitarians and Collectivists have a desire to see the Truth snuffed out in the world.

They have a deep and even disturbing spirit-level hatred of the judgment they inevitably feel weighing on them from that Truth. As a passive-aggressive means of retaliation… they seek to become the “army of the enlightened” who would eradicate the presence of that Truth in the Earth if they could.

They are the ironic epitome of intolerance and they hold a philosophy which will be a mortal threat to true believers in the last days.

These are truly brainwashed individuals… mainstream entertainment, news, political climate and nearly anything else you can name in society has driven this message into the subconscious of the masses.

Truth is despised to the point of being called (insanely enough) non-existent in an absolute sense.

People are convinced of only relative truths, which is always more comfortable as one can dream up any “reality’ they like.

The mind of a Unitarian or Collectivist is not unlike a mind clouded by a cocktail of drugs, and in fact, you will very often find most of them on some sort of mind altering prescription drug. It is tough to deny the existence of reality you can observe without some manner of intoxication coming into play.

Perhaps some of the hardest people there are to witness to… the Unitarians/ Collectivists needs to be shown what should be readily obvious to them, but isn’t.

Very simple examples of truth they can not change or deny… very basic level logic. Not having a grasp of a basic level of reason means that they can not possibly process a higher logic which deals with spiritual things.

The aim is to not only illustrate that truth is whatever it is, regardless of our wishes… but also that ultimately the truth is Good News.

The Apathetic Agnostic:

These individuals don’t think much about spiritual matters. They are immersed in life right here and now… subject to the flesh in everything.

Because they enjoy and are deeply concerned with the temporal, the eternal is shoved to the back burner of their mind where it is only brought out on rare occasions when great adversity and loneliness descend on the individual.

It is normally just as quickly shelved again when that adversity has passed. Their general position on a Creator is “maybe there is and maybe there isn’t… but if there is, He’s certainly not that one talked about in the Bible.”

The Apathetic Agnostic doesn’t want to have to think about Him… they enjoy a far away, misty idea of going to heaven… something they hold onto for the sake of loved ones who have passed away, but not consciously for themselves.

They generally feel some level of invincibility… as if they, themselves, will never die. They normally like to live fast and destructive lifestyles; drugs, an overabundance of alcohol and promiscuous sexual encounters are not uncommon.

They are often people who either have been disillusioned by how Christianity was presented to them, or have grown up without any spiritual training whatsoever.

Eternity is always far in the unimaginable future to Apathetic Agnostics… a thing that might be out there… but they’ll never get to. The love of all things worldly that they subsequently manifest makes them a ticking time bomb of disaster…. headed for, in the best of cases, a rude awakening.

Since they are people who, for lack of a better term, are “chronologically handicapped” and believe “now = forever”, they find it difficult to concern themselves with what they see as an impediment to the enjoyment of their lives… a Creator to which they are accountable.

The Apathetic Agnostic, more than anything, needs to be made aware of how fleeting a thing it is in which they have invested all their energy.

These are those that require some fear… some sober words of truth about the consequences of ignoring even a Possibility that He exists and that He requires things of us.

The message to get across is that “someday” is some tomorrow’s yesterday and that this is not LIFE, but a preparation for it if we will have it.

The Seeking Agnostic:

Maybe one of the more fortunate groups of lost people out there… the truly Seeking Agnostics know they have a need to know spiritual truth.

These tend to be individuals who have had little to no training in spiritual matters growing up, but in whom that void has sparked a deep curiosity or even a desperate need to find out “what it’s all about”.

Though they are aimless and often dabble and experiment in a wide variety of spiritual outlets, they retain a general feeling of dissatisfaction and emptiness which causes them to keep looking.

The Seeking Agnostic is a good person for the witnessing believer to run into if they are fully prepared to answer the questions.

They have obviously not yet encountered any Christian who could answer those questions efficiently and that opportunity is a big one for us. Any truly Seeking Agnostic person will not be able to ignore the simple and true rational answers which faith in Him affords, if we are competent to provide them.

Anyone Really seeking the Real Creator of Heaven and Earth is good ground for good seed.

It’s our job to sow carefully… to be able to explain why we are all in need of salvation… why salvation had to come in the way it did, and why our acceptance and devotion to Him in truth is necessary.

We need to be able to explain why sin is the destructive agent that it is and why He hates it… where it began and when it will end.

The seeker needs to know why the void in him or her exists that is reaching out to an Elohim they never met… and that He can fill that and impart peace that resists temporary circumstance.

The “Christian” Cultist:

This category might cover a pretty broad spectrum of individuals. I do not define it, however, in terms of ‘Christians who simply don’t agree with me on one or more issue’.

I have found very few people who don’t, and I would venture to guess that most believers can say the same.

Differences of understanding what I call “secondary doctrine” are those which can not undermine salvation and do not constitute “lost individuals”.

It’s a very dangerous practice I see too often, that believers will label anyone of disparate views from theirs as essentially “lost souls”. We absolutely can’t spout idle words like that and not consider the consequences of being wrong.

The Christian Cultist is one who, in one or more way, entirely diverges from the core message of the gospel and presents some other “gospel” as being Christian.

“But even if we or a messenger from the sky preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. ” – Galatians 1:8,9

These individuals adhere to their choice of scripture… but subtract the elements with which they are not satisfied.

When this touches the core of the message… YHWH’s intervention on Earth as the physically embodied Messiah, the death of Yahushua, His bodily resurrection or His ascension which is the hope of His people, the message is entirely defiled and becomes something other than Christian.

Many examples of Christian Cult groups like Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons and Christian Scientists are under the control of leadership who practice a method of leading their flock in one understanding of their faith while holding a “secret” understanding of the roots of their belief to themselves.

The leadership understands that the religion they practice is not Christian… it’s only the lay people of the congregation who are kept unaware of that fact.

Often Christian Cultists have either been raised in the faith they are in or they were drawn into it as scripturally unlearned individuals who were seeking something genuine.

Since most of these groups do not encourage reading or studying scripture itself, and offer alternate texts and teachings to the bible, the adherent is usually entirely convinced of the righteousness of his or her faith.

Witnessing to these necessitates making them aware of what actual scripture actually says.

It’s not effective to bring your favorite English translation of the bible into such an endeavor because there is no clear way of proving the superiority of one translation over another by the use of those texts alone.

One needs to go a little further and provide concordance definitions of original words which can shed light on the meaning of scripture without an argument over one translation versus another.

The Spiritist/ Occultist:

One should be well versed in spiritual warfare before treading some of the more dangerous ground of witnessing.

Though most Spiritists or Occultists whom you’re likely to come across are simply dabblers in such things… there are very some serious individuals who have made a life’s endeavor of living with one foot in the Devil’s realm.

Occult practitioners are those individuals who call upon the power and knowledge of demons and fallen angels to manipulate the world around them in whatever fashion seems to them to benefit their goals.

This is a costly practice for them… though most who begin dabbling in it take a very reckless and childish view of those consequences, assuming that they are the ones who have control of the affair.

Save for a few who have only played with such things a short time and been very fortunate… you will hardly meet an occultist who has not become possessed or attached to by an evil entity.

The great draw of spiritism is the lure of power. Being able to manipulate natural life through the use of supernatural means is the stuff of every kid’s fantasy (thanks to Disney).

Having that “edge” against the average mortal is a most attractive prospect… attractive enough to sometimes Literally sell one’s soul to the Devil.

Not every occult practitioner… and very few dabbling individuals… will claim to be calling on the devil or any negative forces.

Most would like to believe, and hence convince themselves, that they have the ability to only call upon “good” spirits… and they rarely ask themselves if spirits could convincingly lie to them.

The more adept occultists are people that the average Joe is not likely to meet… these are people in places of great power and influence, who have come by wealth and worldly favor through their arts.

If ever one does have a chance to speak to them, you might find it next to impossible to speak to a real human being through the web of demonic spirits that have attached themselves to them.

It’s advisable to precede witnessing to an Occultist with a prayer… one that binds and silences every influence apart from the Holy Spirit.

Dabbling Occultists need reasonable and very sober words that sensibly explain the horrific consequences of being utterly possessed and enslaved by an enemy who is quite capable of lying.

The adept occultist no doubt has already realized the pitfalls… but often sees no means of escape or a way to relinquish that worldly power. These need to know that we serve an Elohim that practices an amazing grace, and that there is an escape, even from the full force of hell.

All Occultists need to understand that the world is full of temporary things… and the only thing worth living for is what is eternal.

The Satanist:

The mention of “Satanists” to many believers invokes a concept of “the worst of the worst”.

Though, (depending on what kind of Satanism one is referring to) there are some practitioners who are very deeply involved in some very dark things, there are many Satanists who are no more than hedonists who have made a religion of their selfishness, and use Satan as a symbolic, not literal, figurehead.

The Satanist, of whatever ilk, is someone who holds a deep resentment for YHWH. Most Satanists of a hedonistic sort begin their venture into such a religion through some manner of traumatic or disillusioning experience which makes them mistrust or hate YHWH.

The Satanist of the more literal type is quite often born into the scene by way of a family who has gained a powerful position through their practice.

Children born to Satanic families are almost always very damaged and not unlikely have been put through an intense, lifelong ordeal of producing in them a dissociative identity.

Unfortunately many of these individuals are caught up in a life that they have only broken memories of, and very little chance of escape from without divine intervention. These are the individuals who become the unknowing patsies of black op government projects and perpetrators of mass murders.

The Hedonistic Satanist is a mere dabbler… he or she is normally a very desperate and needy soul who very much wants to believe in better things than the life they lead.

They want to know He cares… even though they might entirely deny His existence. There is a place inside them that realized YHWH exists since it is impossible to hate anyone who does not… and they require someone to be the example to them of what He is really about.

The Literal Satanist is a much more difficult individual to reach. Chances are you are dealing with someone who has parts of their psyche programmed to respond with hostility, violence or escape back to their “handlers” in the event of anyone attempting to usurp their “system”.

Be very cautious… some of these include programs which will literally “self destruct” (suicide) the person in such an event. Witnessing to these should be done with a group of faithful believers who are well trained in dealing with DID/ SRA victims.

The Luciferian:

Perhaps the most unlikely lost individual you are to meet, simply due to the secrecy and high position that is usually associated with the belief system.

These are the counterpoint to the true Satanist… they are the servants of the Evil One, who disguise themselves throughout society and religion as benevolent… even Christian.

Whereas the Satanist practices a dark art forthrightly and is either viewed by the masses as non-existent or a rare, fringe element, the Luciferian is all but unknown to most people because they appear openly in the world in seemingly humanitarian, political and civil servant positions.

There is not much to be said for a “dabbling” faction of Luciferians because this belief is normally only understood in its entirety by the highest factions of their very powerful construct.

The lower novices among Luciferians are often presented with the notion that they are worshipers of the true Elohim, and as that person advances, the lines are blurred and finally erased to expose the fact that the “Christ” that they follow is not Yahushua… but Lucifer.

Luciferians along with Satanists are the ruling controllers of this present world age… they literally have their strings attached to every facet of government, entertainment, economy, commerce and infrastructure on the planet.

The Luciferian faction is in a position to be a much greater threat than the Satanists, perhaps due to their chameleon tactics in society and even amongst their own adherents. One does not “join” to Luciferians… they are born to it. Bloodline is of extreme importance to them.

The average Luciferian has been born into a generations old position… they are born to fill a spot in the machine that will one day bring about the “great vision”… the New World Order.

They are often very assured of the righteousness of their own undertakings and have been conditioned to believe in a very warped moral standard, including a twisted perspective of who YHWH is and the power of Lucifer which they suppose to be superior.

They are likely to view the average populace as property more than humanity, and understand this as a condition which is for the “greater good”.

Luciferians are, like Satanists, often subjected to a rigorous life that produces a dissociative psyche. The parts which are used to carry out more nefarious activities are often hidden from a front alter which is oblivious of those things and can present a very normal countenance.

The same cautions apply to witnessing to a Luciferian as with a Satanist and perhaps go even further… be aware that the high connectedness of a Luciferian can mean that one who is willing to leave their position is also marked for termination and needs prayer support as well as a safe haven.

——————

We are the followers of a Messiah who is a Rock of Offense to the world. Telling people of the Good News will, more often than not, be received as anything but good news.

Sometimes those encounters can degrade quickly into hostility and an evident attitude of rejection. It’s never good to proceed past the point of clear rejection… the point of witnessing is compassion, when your message carries on past where it has been thrown aside and trampled, you are no longer doing a service of compassion.

Remember… there is an eternal impact to that rejection every time it occurs… when the answer is clearly no, we don’t want to compound the condemnation with further rejection.

We might leave it lie for the time and present it again later… allowing for a different mood or mind set. Two rejections on two occasions is normally the finale for me. After our words have been rejected… our witnessing to that individual should be confined to using our lives as examples in action.

All we can do is sow the seed… YHWH alone can give the increase. Pray He leads us to good ground.

Radiation Exposure: Potassium Iodide is Not the Answer

Posted in 11 : Labor Pains with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 03/26/2011 by timenolonger

Following the devastation in Japan and the resulting nuclear facility compromises many people have begun to turn their attention toward preparedness in the event of exposure to radioactive material.

Generally where the medical profession provides “protection” for populations who have been exposed to radiation, potassium iodide is distributed.

Since fears of radiation exposure have increased, even in this country, the supplies of Potassium Iodide have begun to be bought up rapidly from any and every source it is sold.

Whether or not there is any real, present threat of an event which would cause fallout as far as the US west coast, there are multitudes of people worried enough to begin taking potassium iodide.

Before you decide this is good preventative medicine, or even a wise choice when exposure is certain, there are some facts that should be known about potassium iodide, what it can and can not do to help you and what it could do to harm you.

Potassium Iodide is not a natural, organically acquired compound.

This means it is not natural to the human body and the body will treat it as a poison.

In industrial uses it is found in disinfectants.

Though the body naturally processes both potassium and iodine as necessary nutrients, understand that potassium iodide will behave in the body as neither of these.

It is used as a measure against radiation sickness with the intent that it will uptake in the thyroid thus not allowing radioactive iodine to infiltrate it.

It is given to patients who undergo therapies which involve radioiodinated compounds containing iodine. The only effective measure it has is to block only radioactive iodine and only from the thyroid.

In the event of exposure to radiation, neither is it the case that only your thyroid is in danger, nor that you would only be exposed to radioactive iodine.

Taking potassium iodide for such a situation is nearly useless, and worse, can be quite harmful.

The side effects of Potassium Iodide are:

- Thyroid damage that may lead to cancer

- Fetal deformities

- Hyper immune responses/ severe allergic reactions

- Heart arrhythmia

- Decreased mental function

- Numbness/ weakness in limbs

Being neither effective nor safe, potassium iodide should never be the medicine of choice for those who have been or may be exposed to radiation.

It is only reasonable that what is effective and safe is a natural substance to the body and one which combats the molecular level damage to DNA which radiation exposure can cause.

The following are safe and effective supplements which the body can use to blockade itself from radiation damage:

those marked with (*) are the most helpful :

- Rosemary**

- Garlic

- Alfalfa

- Dandelion Root

- Spirulina (blue-green algae)

- Chlorella (blue-green algae)

- Modifilan* (brown seaweed extract)

- Red Clover

- Organically acquired Iodine supplements*

What you don’t consume can also make a big difference. Artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners (including Splenda) and preservatives are enemies of the immune system – and a healthy immune system is necessary to combat exposure to carcinogens.

YHWH whom we know to have been manifested in the Person of Yahushua the Messiah according to the scripture is true Elohim. It is our first and primary goal to love and serve Him.

We can love and serve Him a number of ways. We look to the scripture to understand how we can accomplish this goal. Striving to accomplish this goal aligns us with the universe. We are fulfilling our purpose. Consider these verses…

I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth,

Everyone who is called by My Name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.

Isaiah 43:6-7

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Colossians 1:16

We are created for Elohim’s Glory. We are created through Him and for Him. When we serve our King we are in sync with our ultimate purpose. This isn’t to say He doesn’t enjoy taking care of His children, or making us happy. If even evil men treat their kids good (in some cases) how much more will our perfect Heavenly Father treat us?

Let’s face it we are created for Him but there is nothing we can really do for Him.

What can a man give to Elohim, who is the source of all good gifts? The scripture quotes Elohim, and He tells us what we can do.

For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat.
I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink.
I was a stranger, and you invited Me in.
Naked, and you clothed Me.
I was sick, and you visited Me.
I was in prison, and you came to Me.

Then the righteous will answer Him Master, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?

And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?

When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

The King will answer and say to them,

Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.

Matthew 25:35-40

So the answer is to help the poor, and have mercy on those less fortunate than us. Our goal is to ease the burden of the poor. Also to do what we can to make life better for our fellow man in general.

And He said to him, You shall love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

This is the great and foremost commandment.

The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22:37-39

Stemming from a love for our Elohim YHWH we have a desire to follow His commandments. We desire this because we want to express our love for The Creator. We have discovered by study of the scripture that to exhibit our love for Him we are to follow His commandments.

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

John 14:15

Spread the message of the bible to anyone who will hear and come to believe upon their Creator and have a desire to serve Him in these times. This includes a desire also to serve and love our fellow Christian brothers and sisters of course.

So when they had finished breakfast, Yahushua said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Master; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Tend My lambs.”

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Master; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Shepherd My sheep.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”

Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”

And he said to Him, “Master, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

Yahushua said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

John 21:15-17

We should steady educate ourselves and gain enlightenment to be further equipped to serve YHWH and humanity. In order for one to gain true understanding and wisdom one must have fear of YHWH. This is the beginning of wisdom.

The fear of YHWH is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.

Psalms 111:10

The fear of YHWH is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

The Spirit of YHWH will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of YHWH.

Isaiah 11:2

The first step to fearing Elohim is to know that he exists. Our faith is not in whether or not He exists. His existence is our reality. Our faith is based on the belief that YHWH makes good on His Word, and will fulfill all the promises He has made. With wisdom we are able to demonstrate and prove His existence using arts such as science and history.

But sanctify Messiah as Master in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.

1 Peter 3:15

With wisdom and an understanding of the universe we can help gather the remaining flock who have yet come to believe. Our fourth goal’s purpose to educate and gain wisdom is to take the advice given in 1 Peter 3:15, and help convert non believing hearts to their Creator.

What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’

I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!’

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of Elohim over one sinner who repents.

Luke 15:4-10

To help gather in the lost sheep is to bring joy to Elohim our Father and to heaven.

And He said, A man had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.’ So he divided his wealth between them.

And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.

Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.

So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him.

But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger!

I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.”‘

So he got up and came to his father.

But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.

And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

But the father said to his servants, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate;

for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

Now his older son was in the field, and when he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing. And he summoned one of the servants and began inquiring what these things could be.

And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has received him back safe and sound.’

But he became angry and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and began pleading with him.

But he answered and said to his father, ‘Look! For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours;

and yet you have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends; but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’

And he said to him, ‘Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours.

But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.’

Was There an 8th Day of Creation?

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 03/12/2011 by timenolonger

For most who read and believe scripture, the account of creation in Genesis is understood to have taken place in six days, the seventh day being that one which was set apart as a day of rest from all that YHWH made.

There are, however, some who do not believe that creation ceased on day six, but proceeded to day eight on which Adam, who is normally thought of as the first man, was created.

Those who have this view do not consider Adam and Eve to have been the first humans on Earth, but rather believe that those who were made on day six were a separate creation of human/ humanoid beings.

Often it is explained in terms of these first ones having been all the various races minus that one which was chosen to bring forth Messiah, who was Adam, created on day eight.

It would not be wise to choose either view simply on how the information impresses one at first thought.

Neither adhering to the more well accepted sixth day creation because of tradition, nor adopting the eight day view because of its novelty are good foundations for a clear answer.

Perhaps many who choose either one, having encountered both, do so on the grounds of one of those two reasons, but all interpretation should be tested thoroughly.

Support for the belief in an eighth day creation for Adam are often the following:

1. There is a clear distinction in the telling of the sixth day “humans” and the later telling of the creation of Adam. (Genesis 1 and Genesis 2)

2. The first people were created “in His image” both male and female, rather than Adam who was created alone (and androgynous) and later had a wife made for him out of his own flesh.

3. The first people were created, while Adam was “formed” out of the ground

4. There is a correlation between the first people created and the “beast of the earth” created on the sixth day.

5. The creation of the “eighth day” is evident in the pattern for all of human history – 7,000 years followed by the “eighth day” of the new creation.

6. The “breath of life” breathed into Adam is synonymous with a soul or spirit which the first created people did not have. The first people had YHWH’s likeness, the second had His spirit.

7. Cain mentioned “everyone” who found him would kill him for his crime against Abel and the only explanation for those others is that there were people created prior to Adam and Eve.

8. Cain found a wife and this wife must have been one of those of the people who had been made before Adam and Eve.

Knowing whether or not these points are a good support for the theory means addressing each one in the context of scripture, demanding that scripture make a probable, not just possible case for it.

The same is true of the conventional understanding. His word is not given in a way that requires us to guess. In the end, all correct interpretations will be those which add up to the simplest and most comprehensible answer according to literal language.

One Act or Two?

In Genesis chapter 1 there is a chronological description of creation, describing each day and what was made on that day. The first day describes the creation of the Earth, light, day and night. On the second day was the creation of the firmament of heaven. On the third day, dry land was made to appear and created plant life. On day four were the luminaries of heaven made, the stars, sun and moon. On day five were made sea creatures and birds. On day six, land animals were made, reptiles, mammals and finally people.

“Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind. Cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to its kind,” and it was so.

And ‘Elohiym made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good.

Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So ‘Elohiym created the man in His image, in the image of ‘Elohiym He created him, male and female He created them.”

- Genesis 1:24-27

The seventh day is then set apart for rest from all these things YHWH made, but after the description of the seventh day comes another telling of the creation of humans.

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living creature.

Yahuwah ‘Elohiym planted a garden eastward in ‘Eden and there He put the man whom He had formed”.

- Genesis 2:7, 8

Is this a continuation of the account proceeding in chronological order to the eighth day? There are two points which seriously hinder this being probable.

All other days described before this are done in such a precise way as to pointedly mention the beginning and ending of each “the evening and the morning” as in: “So the evening and the morning were Day One.”, also giving each day aclear number.

This is absent for an eighth day. There is no mention of an evening and a morning encompassing a certain day on which this occurred, nor is there any mention of “day eight”.

The second hindrance is an even more difficult one to justify. The proclamation of the end of the sixth day reads like this:

Thus the heavens and the earth and all (kol: whole, all, any every) the host of them were finished (kalah: end, to be finished, ceased). – Genesis 2:1

There is a clear statement that all things had been made at this point and that following this was cessation from the act of creation.

In His Image: Created or Formed?

Is there an indication that the first account describes a simultaneous “creation” of man and woman while the second describes a process of “forming” Adam alone from the clay?

The first account reads as follows:

“So ‘Elohiym created (bara: create) the man (adam) in His image, in the image of ‘Elohiym He created him, male and female He created (bara:create) them.”

– Genesis 1:27

Here there is the word “bara” which is pointed out as differing from the word used in the “forming” of Adam in Genesis 2:

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed (yatsar: mold, squeeze) the man (adam) of the dust of the ground”

– Genesis 2:7

If there is a point being made here referencing a different mode of creation employed between the first and second humans, it should by all means remain consistent. It is, however, not the case.

In Genesis 4 is the account of the birth of Seth, who is born in replacement of the slain Abel. We must be assured that Seth was the son of Adam and Eve, this being repeated throughout scripture many times, not the son of an earlier creation of humans.

Following this account is the use of the word “bara” (create) in reference to Adam and Eve as well as a reference to their creation “in His image”.

“And ‘Adam knew his wife again and she bare a son and called his name Sheth, “For ‘Elohiym,” she said, “has appointed me another seed instead of ‘Hebel whom Qayin slew.”

And to Sheth, to him also there was born a son and he called his name ‘Enowsh. Then men began to call upon the name of Yahuwah.

This is the book of the generations of man (adam) in the day that ‘Elohiym created mankind.

In the likeness of ‘Elohiym He made him, male and female He created (bara) them and blessed them and called their name ‘Adam in the day when they were created.”

- Genesis 4: 25, 26, Genesis 5:1, 2

Beast of the Earth connected to First Humans?

It is often believed among those who support an 8th day creation that the description of the creation of the “beast of the Earth” in Genesis is synonymous with those first humans created prior to Adam. This is also, many times, connected with the Beast of the Earth mentioned in Revelation.

Scripture gives the account of the creation of the “beast of the Earth” in Genesis like this:

“And ‘Elohiym made the beast (chay: life, living) of the earth according to its kind, cattle (behemah) according to its kind, and everything that creeps (remes:reptile) on the earth according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good. .”

- Genesis 1:25

There is perhaps little to be said of this as any connection to the creation of human or humanlike creatures. The word “chay” preceding a list of animals which were made on the sixth day could only logically be a collective statement before a more detailed list. It is not a word which is specific to any certain sort of living creature.

Where this connection is usually made, it is included within a doctrine that strongly supports the idea of a superior race and lesser peoples who are made fundamentally different by the manner of their creation.

It is often found in Christian identity and British Israelism cults and follows the ages old tradition of an idea which began in the rulership of nephilim over weaker humans.

Turned upside down, this idea is given a Christian face with which to tempt the pride of believers and alienate various ethnic groups from Christianity.

Is the Future New Heaven and Earth created on an “eighth day”?

It is said that one day is equal to a thousand years in the eyes of YHWH and though the precise days of creation are given in terms of 24 hour intervals, the whole of human history might be sensibly mapped out over a week of millennia.

It is completed, therefor, in the same time construct as the act of creation. It is theorized that if Adam was the new creation of the eighth day, his creation coincides with the new heaven and new earth to be created after the thousand year Sabbath of Messiah’s reign.

The difficulty with this idea is that the model we have been given to observe has no day eight. We are shown a seven day cycle, the last day of which is Sabbath and the following day is not day eight, but day one.

The concept of a day eight in the cycle is only applicable within an occult context where there is an emphasis on day eight being the day of the phoenix, the rebirth, the new age.

Sabbath, by it’s very nature, is special because it is the final touch on creation, it is the moment where the labors are enjoyed instead of toiled over, it is the sum reward of all things worked for.

When the millennial reign of Messiah ends, we should not expect and eternal rotation of the same patterns of time we now have. By being a new creation, even time itself will not be measurable by any present concept of it, that also, will be new. There can be no day eight in a new creation as eight proceeds from the prior series of numbers1-7 and is not, by definition, new.

Did Elohim impart His spirit to Adam but not to the first humans?

In Genesis 1:26 it is said that “man” is made in His image:

“Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

- Genesis 1:26

The later account describes the formation of Adam and how he became a living being:

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living creature.”

- Genesis 2:7

It is believed by many who see these as separate creations that this describes the difference between those first humans and Adam. While the first received the physical likeness of their maker, the second received His Spirit, indicated by the words “breath of life”.

The phrase “breath of life” and “living soul” is understood in this belief to refer to life in a spiritual or eternal sense. The words themselves, though, do not indicate a special or eternal sort of life which was exclusively given to Adam, but rather an animating force which is applicable to all things which live and breathe.

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed (yatsar: mold, squeeze) the man (adam) of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath (n’shamah: puff, wind, breath) of life (chay:life, living) and the man (adam) became a living (chay) soul (nephesh: breathing, living creature).

Yahuwah ‘Elohiym planted a garden eastward in ‘Eden and there He put the man (adam) whom He had formed (yatsar).”

- Genesis 2:7,8

Here “chay” is used, just as it is used earlier in Genesis to describe the sort of life which animals have. The word “nephesh”, which is often translated as “soul” cannot be understood in the sense of what people normally think of as a soul. It, also, is used to describe a creature, any creature, who is living and breathing as shown here:

“So ‘Elohiym created great sea creatures and every living thing (nephesh) that moves, with which the waters abounded according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good.”

- Genesis 1:21

Was the “everyone” Cain was afraid of an indication of multitudes of humans made before Adam?

Cain made this well known statement when he was cursed by YHWH to become a vagabond for the murder of his brother:

“And Qayin said to Yahuwah, “My punishment is greater than I can bear!
Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground.

I shall be hidden from Your face. I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.”

- Genesis 4:13, 14

Anyone or “every one”, as it is given in the KJV, is seen as indicating a great number of people. That indication is not literally present, but thought to implied by the way it is often used in the context of the English language.

The word is translated from “kol” which properly means, any, all or every. It does not indicate a number, either few or many, but simply describes any or every of whatever certain group is in question. It would make as much sense if Adam and Eve were the only two others as much as it would if there were multitudes of others.

Jubilees is a helpful text in considering the theory of the eighth day creation as a whole and it gives a good idea of how many people were on earth as produced through Adam and Eve at the time of this event.

Without including possible grandchildren, there would have been approximately eleven children of Adam and Eve alive at the time conservatively. All of these would perhaps feel justified in seeking due vengeance for their brother’s murder.

“And in the third week in the second jubilee she gave birth to Cain, and in the fourth she gave birth to Abel, and in the fifth she gave birth to her daughter Âwân.

And in the first (year) of the third jubilee, Cain slew Abel because (God) accepted the sacrifice of Abel, and did not accept the offering of Cain”

– Jubilees 4:1, 2

Where did Cain find a wife?

It is often pointed out that Cain could not have gotten a wife anywhere if there had not been “other” humans present who were not of his own parents. There is no reason to assume this, however.

The command against incest had not yet been given, and for a good reason, all who were available for marriage in the beginnings were siblings. Jubilees also offers insight to Cain’s wife:

“And Cain took ’Âwân his sister to be his wife and she bare him Enoch at the close of the fourth jubilee. And in the first year of the first week of the fifth jubilee, houses were built on the earth, and Cain built a city, and called its name after the name of his son Enoch.”

- Jubilees 4:9

The introduction of the theory of two creations of mankind is an important indicator of the motive, reasoning and philosophy behind it.

If it were intended as the interpretation we should receive from His word, its teaching should bear the fruit of that and be identifiable in both ancient Judaism (before Babylon) as well as the early Christian church.

Where it has sprung up, though is not in either of these places, but in the mind of a Jewish man who lived in Alexandria and who was much more a student of Greek pagan philosophy than Judaism.

Philo of Alexandria was known for his writings which attempted to meld together traditional Judaism and Greek philosophy.

It is an attempt which is not unlike the goal the Catholic church worked toward in melding together Christianity and pagan religious systems.

He interpreted nothing in scripture as literally true, but believed in a symbolic and allegoric interpretation which in essence means nothing, as no symbol is meaningful without a clear object or truth which it symbolizes.

If YHWH meant to give us riddles which only a few could understand, why then can we easily recognize the message present in His word that demonstrates how He uses simplicity and lowliness rather than worldly wisdom and high estate?

“Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies that You may silence the enemy and the avenger”.

-Psalm 8:2

Philo sought to”reveal” a cryptic and hidden meaning in the bible which was not there, the same snare which continually draws believers, even today, down a path of speculation which inevitably draws ever nearer a pagan religious system and away from a truth YHWH plainly gave.

One of these cryptic meanings he revealed to his followers was the theory of an eighth day creation, stating that the first men were made in a perishable physical image of their maker but the second were created as creatures with His spirit.

The very theory that makes it’s appearance in the beliefs of many seeking Christians today originated in a man who taught concepts which were derived out of Greek Mystery Religions.

We have a Creator who has given us a perfect representation of truth in a most logical, most common sense way. and I have never known anything written to have made as much sense as His word does when read just as it reads.

It is the persistent Author of Confusion, Satan, who seeks to make what was simple into something complicated, knotted and difficult to follow. There might be no better general rule of reading His word than “if it is not said, it was not meant.”.

Learning Not to Worry

Posted in 01 : The Chief Cornerstone with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 01/08/2011 by timenolonger

We exist in a stressful world, and one which only becomes more so with each passing day. The more one learns, the more there seems to be to worry about.

Uncertainty is the reigning factor in the affairs of the world… though we might attempt to derive understanding of future plans which rulers have, and though we might be assured that at some point all prophecy will come to pass, we never know exactly what the next day or week or month will bring.

That uncertainty can be mentally taxing as people are continually pushed closer to adversity in their own lives. The lack of a stable economy can hit home at any time, ever tightening “security” measures can mean the sudden loss of personal freedoms and even, ironically, personal safety.

Threats and rumors of food shortages and an ever more polluted supply of food and water can cause anyone aware of those factors to wonder what they will be eating a year from now.

Weather manipulation, mood manipulation, the threat of a seething geo-political climate ripe for world war and the classified technology at their fingertips to make such a thing a disaster like no war before… who could not end up a little worried?

Believers in Yahushua know that they have been charged to trust Him and not to worry… that admonition alone can be, and should be, a serious relief to us – realizing that, unlike the unbelieving of the world, we have an unbeatable assurance. Still…

…there are probably few believers who have never found themselves buried in a burden of anxiety from which they find it very difficult to extract themselves.

It is not ignorance of the assurance we have been given which is responsible for worrying, rather it’s a multitude of instincts innate in the flawed character of who we are which leads us to look at what we can or can not achieve, instead of what He can achieve.

Since we are all flawed, worry is universal. Some might be more anxious than others… but we’ve all been worried before. “What am I going to do?” is the mantra of the anxious mind.

That little question begins a cycle of irrational responses which traps the mind in a fruitless cycle of grasping for solutions which are not there, in a natural sense.

“What am I going to do?” is not a question which arises when there are clear choices and responsibilities to be met, it arises when there are no obvious answers to a difficult situation…

“I” is the issue…

As a person retains the responsibility and the authority in the use of the word “I”… all solutions must come from the one asking “what am I going to do?”

Immediately all responsibility and authority in the situation no longer belongs to our Creator inasmuch as the inquirer is concerned. “I” has a limited capacity to offer good solutions… and “I” will normally fail to adequately resolve anything.

Worry and self trust can arise out of an erroneous concept that He helps those who help themselves, contrary to His word, which clearly imparts the message that He helps those who can not help themselves… and in the most basic sense, none of us Can help ourselves.

The basic principle which operates behind the scenes of anxiety, though it may seem odd, is Pride.

If we feel there is any instance in which our answers are more sufficient than His, we have esteemed ourselves wise and powerful enough to take on that burden.

If we wrestle with the idea that we are not worthy to receive His help… that also assumes that it is possible that we could be. Worry does not feel like pride… yet it is the subtle output of a self-reliant nature which processes adversity in terms of what we can do about it.

We can be awed by His mercy in the fact that throughout His Word, YHWH does not harshly berate us for our troubled hearts that are so weakened by sin nature. Though we might deserve the scolding… His answers to our self-reliant worry are gentle and comforting. This fact alone should give us strength, knowing that a Creator merciful enough to be kind towards our faults is also merciful to be faithful in His promises to provide that which we need.

“Cast your burden on Yahuwah and He shall sustain you. He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

- Psalm 55:22

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on.

Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your celestial Father feeds them.

Are you not of more value than they?

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

So why do you worry about clothing?

Consider the lilies of the field how they grow.

They neither toil nor spin and yet I say to you that even Shelomoh in all his splendor was not arrayed like one of these.

Now if Yahuwah so clothes the grass of the field, that today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

For after all these things the heathen seek.

For your celestial Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first the kingdom of Yahuwah and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

- Matthew 6:25-34

“What am I going to do?” should be a question that we routinely reword “What is He going to do?” Instead of the question only compounding our worries as it does when “I” is the subject… it can be said with confident anticipation… even excitement at the prospect of being the recipient of a blessing as yet unknown.

While our solutions are inadequate, limited and temporary, His are sufficient, full of infinite possibility and eternally sure. How amazing is it when you’re the one person in thousands who can get excited over some personal adversity instead of being burdened by it? That is, perhaps, the ideal and a goal that most of us have yet to attain to… but that’s what spiritually “growing up” is all about.

We ought to never be discouraged by the learning process which He designs for each individual in order to teach us more perfect faith. In this He proves that He loves us… even when the process is frustrating.

It is not uncommon for our Heavenly Father to remove every available natural solution to our own adversities… and though this can seem, through natural senses, to be a lonely and frightening circumstance, it is in this sort of “desolate landscape” situation, without our self-reliant tools, that we often learn how to efficiently call on Him, having no other options.

When we have wrestled with ourselves, attempting to find a way out of a situation which has no remedy, gone through anger, sadness and despair, spent sleepless nights or preoccupied days trying to solve our own issue, finally there is a moment of giving up and letting Him take control. When we see His response and understand His faithfulness, it is then that our faith increases.

“Yahuwah is my shepherd. I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil.

My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of Yahuwah forever.”

- Psalm 23

He is the Almighty, All Sovereign and All Knowing King of Kings… and He cares for His children with more vigilant concern than the best earthly father who has ever lived.

“If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your celestial Father give the Sacred Spirit to those who ask Him!”

- Luke 11:11-13

In the uncertain days, months and years ahead… as long as He will that this age endures, may we all learn to trust Him more perfectly, mature in the confidence of faith towards Him, and be encouraged in His ever present help.

He never leaves nor forsakes us… not because we are good, but because He is.

Airport Body Scanners: Basic Decency Denied

Posted in 12 : Technocracy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 12/16/2010 by timenolonger

On December 25th of last year came a curious holiday gift wrapped in a Nigerian man’s undergarments and delivered aboard Northwest Airlines. Who can forget the so-called “Underwear Bomber”?

A bizarre incident which really evokes a deep down sense of absurdity… but treated with such seriousness by the government and media and finally by a public who is again admonished to keep remembering and believing in the imminent threat of Islamic terrorism.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was supposedly on a terrorist “watch list”…the US government apparently saw no need to revoke his visa anyway because, they tell us, they were tracking his movement to learn more about him.

Seems reasonable… unless you’re one of over a million Americans who have been put on no flight lists because you’re a veteran or a member of a militia or just caught disliking government policies a little too much. Then it might seem somewhat ludicrous that the government has no qualms about letting a foreign man fly on US planes who is deemed to be a known Islamic extremist.

Then there’s Kurt Haskell… the man who witnessed the entire embarkation of the Underwear Terrorist.

His story completely disregarded by government and media alike, he witnessed the Nigerian being escorted by a well dressed, wealthy looking man who was clearly not an employee of the airline. Though appearing Indian, the man spoke English like any American and reasoned with the airline concerning the Nigerian’s lack of a passport “we do this all the time”.

“The FBI visited my office on December 29, 2009, and showed me a series of approximately 10 photographs. None were of the SDM. I asked the FBI if they brought the Amsterdam security video to help me identify the SDM, but they acted as though my request was ridiculous. The FBI asked me what accent the SDM spoke in and I indicated that he had an American accent similar to my own. I further indicated that he wore a tan suit without a tie, was Indian looking, around age 50, 6’0″ tall and 250-260 lbs. I further indicated that I did not believe that he was an airline employee and that he was not on our flight…

“On January 20, 2010, current Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), Michael E. Leiter, made a startling admission. Leiter indicated that: “I will tell you, that when people come to the country and they are on the watch list, it is because we have generally made the choice that we want them here in the country for some reason or another…

“Could the SDM have been a U.S. Government official? He dressed in a suit and not a security uniform. Check. He indicated we do this all the time. Could “we” be the U.S. Government? Check. He spoke English with an American accent. Check. Would he need to convince the ticket agent that this was a normal procedure to allow boarding without a passport? Check. Would he have the ability to obtain such clearance? Check. Could he enter this security area even though he wasn’t a passenger? Check. Would the ticket agent likely refer this request to a manager? Check. Would the U.S. Government not want this information public and try to hide it? Check.”

The incident hit the media outlets like alarm bells for the next 9-11. Ignoring every indication of a carefully engineered plan to just this end, the masses barely flinched when immediately airport security went from highly inconvenient to downright abusive overnight. Enter the backscatter x-ray full body scanner.

If you were under the impression that the airport body scanner became a reality as a result of a sudden need for higher security, you’d be mistaken.

These invasive little devices are the creation of a client company of one Michael Chertoff, former head of Homeland Security who took advantage of this very convenient underwear episode months after the company, Rapiscan, sold 25 million dollars of the technology to TSA. What a timely sale.

If there is any right which sums up the most basic of freedoms, it has to be the right to ones own body. Nothing is more personal, nothing else is more truly in any persons possession than their own flesh. It must certainly be a sort of canary in the coal mine where it comes to personal freedoms when the majority are willing to submit their right to their own body to strangers who claim an authority over it in the name of…. defending the Land of the Free?

When it is suddenly OK that airports demand to see a person nude in one of their ionizing backscatter scanners, does it ever occur to the populace that hypothetically being conquered by Islamo-fascists could be any worse?

At least they tend to agree we should keep our clothes on. Hence I consider it the height of hypocrisy when someone declares of the present ongoing “war on terror” and the military involvement in it as “defending our freedoms”. Stripping people (literally) of their humanity is a path to freedom in what reality?

At the risk of sounding old fashioned… back in the day, when “men were men”, it would be a cold day in a very hot place when anyone’s wife or child or elderly mother would be allowed to be subjected to a strip search by people whose moral character was unknown at best and extremely questionable at worst.

They, after all, are not criminals… they are average citizens simply trying to travel and they are subject to the sorts of abuses which literally are criminal in any other context. If the idea of a neighbor with high powered binoculars spying on one’s wife or child while dressing is disturbing… this should be more so by virtue of the fact that it is condoned by those in “authority”.

All common decency and dignity aside… this device is an X-ray. It works by way of ionizing radiation, a serious cumulative health hazard in spite of the assurances of the FDA and government spokesmen.

The FDA being the same organization who feels no need to warn people on food labels of eating genetically manipulated organisms, who approve thousands of brand name drugs that are later shown to cause numerous fatalities… these are the people the public trusts when it comes to irradiating their bodies at the airport.

Ionizing radiation is known to cause chromosome damage. Even the supposedly innocuous “background” radiation which passes through Earth’s atmosphere and reaches Earth is not so harmless… it too, eventually breaks the body down and causes aging.

Most of the radiation from a backscatter scanner is concentrated on the surface of the skin and the fatty layer just below it… the potential risk for skin and breast cancer is especially concerning.

The FDA claim that it would require some 5,000 scans per year to reach any level of threat, even if generally correct (and evidence would suggest it isn’t) does not account for the 1 in 20 people who are genetically highly sensitive to radiation or the fact that children are all much more sensitive to radiation than adults as they are still growing.

Ionizing radiation is comprised of EM waves or subatomic particles that basically rip the electrons from the atoms and molecules in one’s cells. If it sounds like bad news, that’s because it is.

The risks, the “experts” say, are outweighed by the benefits. The benefits are that people are supposed to feel more secure. Secure from what, I wonder? Secure from the one terrorist who did not get the memo on the new technology?

The next obvious step, if one buys into the terrorist threat line, is that they will inevitably begin stowing their explosive devices, etc. in body cavities. What then? Are you really ready for a full cavity search in order to board a plane? Are you living in a free country when survival at any cost is the new definition thereof? Is there anyone left who feels basic human rights are worth a little risk if there is some?

Having rolled over like cowering puppies, the public has not purchased peace of mind, they’ve simply helped the government up the ante on paranoia.

Compliance to body scanners has proven that Fear and Cowardice are the real slave masters of the masses and that they will bow before any oppressor who serve their tools, Tyranny and Corruption. They will allow their wives, their kids, their old mothers and fathers to be manhandled, insulted, poked, irradiated, stared at in the nude and reduced to tears.

Don’t be fooled by the assurances TSA has given that the images cannot be stored or transferred or that the images themselves are not well defined and photograph clear.

TSA’s own documents clearly specify that the machines must have both image storing and sending ability.

The images the machines produce must be able to focus in on the most private details of the body in order to be able to identify any suspicious item attached to the body.

There is technically an opt-out option for the scanners.

This “opting out”, however, simply puts one in a position to choose between a nude picture of themselves viewed by multiple strangers or an incredibly personal pat down which includes a startlingly thorough feel-up of one’s most private areas.

That’s called “molestation” anywhere else on earth.

The obvious intent of such a horribly intrusive pat down is to ensure that the body scanner remain the preferable option for most people. Most people would rather pose for an embarrassing picture than subject themselves to a legalized sexual assault.

If you think we’ve reached the absolute limit in denying citizens a right to basic privacy, try to imagine a future when this is the norm in a wide variety of public places: court rooms, libraries, bus stations, schools, sporting events, etc.

Now ask yourself if you think you have the courage to resist before that becomes a reality. Please, American citizens – at least for the sake your kids and your elders – have the guts and the decency to refuse this perverse form of oppression.

“Defend the poor and fatherless.

Do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Deliver the poor and needy.

Free them from the hand of the wicked.”

- Psalm 82:3,4
