There is an interesting section in Ezekiel, chapter 31 on which I have never heard much comment from pastors, or any other believers of His Word.

Though it is perhaps easy to read it as being addressed to a nation, there are certain themes within it which would never apply to any nation or ordinary ruler.

Here we see Egypt’s Pharaoh being warned in a comparison of himself to some manner of great and wicked leader, which is identified in KJV and other English translations as “the Assyrian”.

The word Assyrian in Old Testament scripture is translated from the word “Ashshur”, which is spelled : aleph, shiyn, reysh. This word can refer to the second son of Shem, or his descendants, or their country; but another word exists which is worth noticing for its similarity and possible confusion with the word Ashshur.

The word “ashur” which is also spelled : aleph, shiyn, reysh is used as a shortened form of a longer word – te’ ashshuwr – that is the name of a specific type of “box” cedar tree.

The difference in the words Ashshur and ashur is only noted in a vowel point, and it must be remembered that vowel points are not original to the language, and where they make the difference between a translation which makes sense and one which makes less, it is not always the better option to trust the given translation as the best choice.

A reason that it should be questioned that Ashshur should be the correct choice is in the next few words – and supported further by the rest of the text of the chapter.

“Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.” – Ezekiel 31:3

It is here plainly said that a Cedar is the object of reference. Might this not make sense if the translation were this instead:

“Behold, the Box Tree was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.”

The symbolism of the cedars of Lebanon is very prominent in scripture.

“And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.” – 2 Kings 14:9

“Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars. Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down. There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled. ” – Zechariah 11:1-3

“The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. ” – Psalm 29:5

“For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,” – Isaiah 2:12,13

The idea which follows the symbol of a cedar of Lebanon is pride, strength and rulership, and perhaps more that that. The first time tall, proud trees are mentioned in historical writings of non-canon scripture they appear in the book of giants, which exists now in fragments from the dead sea scrolls.

“In the Dead Sea text entitled the Book of Giants, the Nephilim sons of the fallen angel Shemyaza, named as ‘AhyÄ and ‘OhyÄ, experience dream-visions in which they visit a world-garden and see 200 trees being felled by heavenly angels. Not understanding the purpose of this allegory they put the subject to the Nephilim council who appoint one of their number, Mahawai, to go on their behalf to consult Enoch, who now resides in an earthly paradise. To this end Mahawai then:

[… rose up into the air] like the whirlwinds, and flew with the help of his hands like [winged] eagle [… over] the cultivated lands and crossed Solitude, the great desert, […]. And he caught sight of Enoch and he called to him…

Enoch explains that the 200 trees represent the 200 Watchers, while the felling of their trunks signifies their destruction in a coming conflagration and deluge.”

Mt Hermon, the place of descent of those 200 Watchers, sits on the border between Lebanon and Israel, so that it is evident why a cedar of Lebanon is a very likely symbol for a fallen Watcher.

The rest of this chapter begins to look less like a comparison of pharoah with another great human ruler, and more like a historic comparison to those who ruled the world before the deluge.

“The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.” – Ezekiel 31:4

In 1 Enoch it is described as the fate of the women who became wives of the Watchers that they should be, after their mortal deaths, “Sirens” roaming the earth, and their children became “demons”.

Sirens are understood in legends around the world to be female spirits connected always with water. Perhaps here we see a reference to these human women that were the fuel that fed the reign of these fallen angels on Earth.

“Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth. All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations. Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters. ” – Ezekiel 31:5-7

This describes a world government, much like one that will exist in the near future as it is foretold by Messiah that the last days should be just as the days of Noah were.

“The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height; ” – Ezekiel 31: 8-10

There becomes little doubt in this section that what is being referred to is not a human ruler or a nation, by reference to those in the “garden of Elohim (God)” and “Eden” – which obviously has had no human inhabitant since Adam and Eve.

“I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness. And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him. ” – Ezekiel 31:11,12

“the mighty one” is translated from “el” which is used to refer to deity, whether the True Creator or a falsely worshiped being. It should be remembered that the Watchers who rebelled did so much after Satan had led his own rebellion, and Satan was, and is still, the primary ruler over the dominion of sin.

These two factions of rebels have not always cooperated with one another, but in the end Satan is given dominion to rule over all who stand in transgression against the Creator.

When the Watchers were imprisoned just before the flood, the world under their rule became a legend and a myth until this day. People have left that history behind them in a past they do not recall.

“Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches: To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit. Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.” – Ezekiel 31:13-15

The fowls and beasts can be likened to those who have retained the occult knowledge which originated in those pre-flood days, and who strive toward a resurrection of that age, the ruling families and secret societies of the present world.

The ruin to which the rebel watchers came is a reminder before the heavenly host to beware of entertaining pride and transgression.

The rebels have had their bodies which existed in the physical world destroyed, and they have been thrown into subterranean prisons, dying as mankind does, a form of mortal death.

It is mentioned in 1 Enoch how some of the holy host mourned the downfall of their brethren.

“I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth. They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen. To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.” – Ezekiel 31:16-18

The whole world was changed with the end of the Watchers reign and the flood. It would begin over again, with a small remnant.

The phrase “shall be comforted” comes from the word “nacham”, which means to sigh or be sorry for, to pity or repent. These are the whole host of rebel Watchers, “they that were his arm” mourning the defeat of their leader.

Perhaps all should do their own research, and yet this is a chapter which i believe has relevance in this day, and which is worthy of taking notice.

How to Say No to the Establishment

Posted in 11 : Labor Pains with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 05/16/2010 by timenolonger

A day is coming for believers when we will have to, for the last time, stand up for the name of Messiah – even if the price of loyalty is our own mortal lives.

In our minds’ eyes perhaps we envision ourselves as valiant during the hour of temptation.. shining the way Stephen did at his trial.. stating firmly and unwaveringly whatever words are given us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

But before that day arrives, all we who claim the name of Messiah will increasingly have our respective metals tested against the ever-encroaching mandates of the Establishment.. and each choice made is cataloged and counted, either for us or against us.

It is perhaps easy to imagine an end-of-time grand finale of unyielding support for our Savior.. In the hour that our testimonies are given we will have one choice : obey Messiah or obey sin – a choice most believers would say is ‘an easy one’.. but how do our choices measure up on a daily basis.. how ‘easy’ is it to say “No” to the System in our everyday lives?

At work.. at school.. at church.. in our circles of friends.. with strangers.. by ourselves.. when the choice is presented – is it found to be as easy as we’d like to believe it would be? Usually not, from what i’ve found.. but i’ve also found that choice gets easier to make the more it’s made.

Recently the company where i work began a practice of saying the “Pledge of Allegiance” before the morning shift begins.. the first time it was announced, just before i was leaving for the day, i remember putting my hand over my heart, turning, along with everyone else in the room, and facing the flag. During the two seconds it took for me to do that i asked myself “What are you doing?”

I didn’t want to pledge my allegiance to the flag.. any flag.. or anything or one other than Messiah.. i didn’t say the words of the pledge.. and not wanting to make a scene, i stood still in my place.. while i remained there silent i wished that i had been walking out instead.. but i stayed.

Regret was instant, and i considered the choice i would make if that same opportunity was presented again.. and it was. This time as the room full of people, with hands over hearts, turned toward the flag of the government which hates them – i walked out in the opposite direction.

This time there was no regret.. no racing heart asking “what should i do?”.. just a calm reassurance that the Almighty likes it when His children honor Him. Perhaps this seems a small choice to make against the Establishment of Evil, but we all have to start somewhere.

Believers have been, and will continue to be, implored to act in a manner unfit for His children.. and we all have to consciously decide whether we will stand up for what is right in the name of Messiah – or if we will sheepishly go with the flow of the System – then physically act on that decision.

Acting on the conviction that we will not yield to evil is something for which believers on Yahushua are known – and there is no better time than today to make that stand.. but how do we stand firm in our conviction without appearing to be a “nut”?

How? – by being meek.. by exhibiting strength under control.. by calmly exercising the rights given us by our Creator. If your job starts saying the Pledge.. refuse to participate.. if the cop asks for your SSN.. simply tell him ‘no’.. if the government demands a head-count.. deny it that violation..

These days will draw closer to the end, riding the waves of injustice and mercilessness – but we, as believers, can reject the pressure to conform and instead rely on and remain strong in our loyalty to Messiah. It is, after all, His authority which shall remain when the authorities of the world perish.. and it is to Him that we must answer when all is said and done.

“No”‘ doesn’t go over very well when it comes from what seems to be a raving lunatic..

Instead, as believers, and as individuals who will be judged by the Almighty, let our every ‘no to the Establishment’ in these days be given in meekness.. with a calm knowledge that Messiah has purchased and owns us, and none can take us out of His hand.. so that in the hour of temptation we will not be doing a new thing, but will be doing what we have become accustomed to do – His will.

“Yet Miyka’el the high messenger, in contending with the devil when he disputed about the body of Mosheh, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “Yahuwah rebuke you” (Jude 9)

The Shady Side of Drug Prohibition

Posted in 07 : The Ruling Controllers with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 05/12/2010 by timenolonger

The War on Drugs, harsher penalties for abusers and dealers, no tolerance policies… it is almost a staple of upstanding citizenry everywhere to support the idea of the eradication of drug abuse in society.

Drug prohibition is never questioned as being a good and moral idea by decent, law abiding people. It is most certainly considered a necessity that government and law enforcement do everything they must in order to halt the flow of drugs to our streets if you want to be considered a good, moral Christian.

It may shock you to know the reality that lurks behind the policies of drug prohibition. It should not be a shock to know that the occurrence of drug abuse in this country has not been quelled in the least… the evidence of that is abundant, in spite of the outrageous amounts of tax money spent on drug prohibition measures.

Approximately 6 billion dollars a year are taken from tax payers to fund the war on drugs – and yet here we are, still sitting in a cesspool of lives ruined from addiction and incarceration.

There are no shortages of illicit drugs to be found and there is no shortage of those supplying it or using it… what is a rational explanation for this after 41 years of pumping untold amounts of money and manpower in to this bottomless pit?

The only reasonable answer is that there is no real attempt to stop drug abuse, and prohibition has never existed as a means to the end of bettering society.

It should have been readily apparent following the prohibition of alcohol in the early 1900’s, and it should have been a lesson that people never forgot… but such is the nature of forgetting history and by necessity, repeating it.

Prohibition began with such proponents backing it as the WCTU, the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. Anything but the demure and upstanding ladies their title might make them seem, this organization was notoriously racist, and staunch supporters of the KKK and eugenics.

The modern elite would be proud of them today… they believed in the controlled breeding of human population.

The results of Prohibition were disastrous… leading from a market once controlled by your average businessman, to a market being controlled by murderous gangs of thugs enabled by corrupt law enforcement.

Why should today’s prohibition be any different?

Well it isn’t… perhaps these days we are less likely to run into types like Al Capone cashing in on the forbidden substance than we are to find inner city street gangs, but that is where the dissimilarity ends.

Law enforcement and government are still the corrupt enablers of the drug trade.

Harry J Anslinger-

He was the Assistant Prohibition Commissioner who was later appointed as the first Commissioner of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics which, incidentally, was an agency under the control of the Treasury Department.

From the beginning, drug control policies were linked hand in hand with monetary gain.

Anslinger in conjunction with Du Pont, a petrochemical company, and William Randolph Hearst, notorious for giving rise to “yellow journalism” propaganda, led a crusade against marijuana in the early 1930’s.

The target of this campaign was not an attempt to stop its recreational use, but an attempt to halt it’s production as a competitor against paper and petroleum producers as a cheaper and more abundant substitute for those products.

It is the propaganda of that day which still persists in the minds of the public when they think about marijuana.

As much of a joke as an old film called Reefer Madness might be now… it is shocking how well these ideas about a fairly innocuous, wild weed has shaped the public opinion of it now.

The public is still told that marijuana causes all manner of social disability, an inability to function as a responsible adult, brain damage, lack of self control, lung cancer, addiction etc.. None of those claims have ever been scientifically sound – but to suggest that they are not to your average person on the street, 74 years after that silly film, is equivalent to saying “I am a pro-drug, pot head heathen.”

The CIA and it’s Long Drug Love Affair-

The CIA has been caught in the midst of drug smuggling so many times that if that entity were a single average citizen they might be termed the most notorious drug dealer in history and imprisoned for life… but this is the CIA – and they are above such laws.

The CIA has been involved in smuggling opium from China to Thailand, from Vietnam and Cambodia to the US, and assisting Laotian drug lords.

It has been a regular practice for the CIA since the 1950’s to fly drugs out of Japan and the Middle East in to the US… if there is a question as to how such a steady stream of illicit drugs make it into a country with such strict policies against it, here is the answer.

The DEA, military, and State Department all have their part as well in enabling the CIA’s black market monopoly on drugs. Agents have repeatedly blown the whistle on this kind of activity within their ranks, but it continues to this day because the CIA, just like the mafia of the Prohibition era, has a tendency to “whack” their enemies and competition.

Drug running is a high level business. The idea that the strung out, unkempt, seedy man on the street corner is the problem is an extremely naive one.

It requires an international and powerful force of operations to succeed in laundering money from the billions of drug sales made from the top down… it requires the directive of international banking systems to make a monster machine like this smoothly run.

Presidents and vice presidents have been firmly invested in the business of dangling the forbidden substances, which their own laws control, in front the public… creating drug awareness campaigns which amount to advertising their product, rather than exposing the dangers of the drugs themselves.

“If George Bush is prosecuted, and goes to jail for the crimes he committed when he was the Drug Kingpin of the 1980s, this will be the single most important historical event in decades. It will define a realm of possible action that many people right now feel is impossible, or unfathomable – that it would ever happen. It can happen, it must happen. This is the responsibility of the American people.”
– Jeffrey Steinberg

The Bush’s have a history of connectedness to drug trafficking and drug lords. As a result of Bush Sr.’s secretive arms trade with Iran, thousands of tons of drugs were exported to the streets of America.

The total sales of illicit drugs in the years following were in the hundreds of billions, half of which occurred in the States. Bush Jr and his brother Jeb were videotaped picking up kilos of cocaine in Florida

In this country, one in every 18 males are in prison. 70% of those in prison are minorities. We have the highest documented incarceration rate in the world. While violent crime rates have remained steady… drug charges have skyrocketed and the War on Drugs is cited as the force behind this.

Incarcerated Americans 1920-2006

We have to come to a simple conclusion… a war against drugs in this country is not about keeping people off of drugs… it’s about greed, it’s about a need to control the masses, it’s about eugenics.

There is no coincidence involved in the fact that the highest incidence of drug use and incarceration on drug offenses occurs in the inner city, the poor areas of the country, the areas in which house minority groups… mostly black minority groups.

It’s easy for people to sit back in their comfortable suburban white town where “things like that don’t happen”, and blame a culture to which they have not been exposed, or in which they were not raised… but make no mistake, this inner city disease is a planned one… it’s just one more way to reduce the number of capable, thinking individuals who have historical reasons to distrust their rulers.

You are in no way safe from the atrocity of the so-called War on Drugs if you are not a minority though… it may be your well-educated, young middle-class white child who one day takes a ride with someone carrying a few bags of marijuana and ends up spending the rest of his life paying for laws designed to make criminals of everyone they can.

Do we really believe that the end of prohibition of drugs is going to lead to worse than we have in this country right now? Are people not capable of making decisions about what they choose to put into their own bodies whether or not the government intercedes to add to the unfortunate results by making it a crime punishable by losing years of one’s life behind bars?

Have we ever known the prison system to rehabilitate drug users? How far in the future is the day when your own home is broken into by overzealous militant police forces searching for a gram of weed because your ex girlfriend, coworker, friend, or some other grudge-holding person made an anonymous claim that you had drugs?

We need to rethink what it means to support this never-ending “War on Drugs”… because so far, the casualties have been human lives, not drugs.

NWO, Gangs & Martial Law

Posted in 10 : Culling the Herd with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 05/05/2010 by timenolonger

The tactics of Yah’s enemies are many, and perhaps ancient in design. The end times, and the eventual one world government/religion have been designed and plotted from days of old.

When the time arises to declare martial law there will be excuses given out for the declaration. One excuse they will have to enter urban areas, invade homes, and terrorize the people – will be in the name of law and order.

They will claim to be searching for and trying to dismantle gangs. Modern American gangs may begin to be classified as terrorist organizations. A threat to national security.

Many people are involved with gangs in someway or another during their youths, and grow out of it. But perhaps any ties to gangs, even during youth may make one eligible to receive a ticket to Guantanamo Bay, or perhaps a FEMA camp.

But if examined closely, we can find the premises to conclude that modern American gangs are not an urban phenomenon, but something that has been planned out, and introduced into society by the Illuminati, and the devil worshipping elite.

Consider this. Why do gangs, and fallen angels share many of the same symbols, and habits? Some examples are five point stars, six point stars, crescent moons, pyramids, strange crosses, and numbers.

The trident is depicted in pagan art many times. Both eastern and western. It is carried by Krishna, and also Neptune wields one. It is also the symbol of one of the largest gangs in the country, the Gangster Disciples.

Gangs are known for their hand signs that they flash to people. They use these signs to indicate to which gang they belong. If one would consider pagan art again, notice all the “gods” who flash similar hand signs.

Are we to believe some young men from the ghetto just happened to use the symbols of fallen angels to represent their gangs? Where did they even discover these symbols?

When these organizations were supposedly made in the 70’s there was no Internet access or any real conceivable way these guys could have stumbled upon these symbols.

I don’t believe gang leaders in the 70’s were looking up ancient religions in the local library, then deciding to use the symbols of these pagan faiths to represent their gangs.

Lastly I believe that the gang epidemic is getting out of hand, and has been since the 1980’s. The government knows this, but never makes a serious effort to curb this.

Instead they let depraved youth grow up in these conditions, join the local gang, and then commit sin, and end up in some federal or state correctional facility were they can be used for many things ranging from being guinea pigs for medical experiments to just a labor force.

Sinning is cool in gang culture. If the government wanted to, they could wipe this problem out. It’s just they don’t want to. Gangs serve the NWO purpose quite nicely. And when the time comes, gangs will be one excuse they give to raid a home near you.

Psalms 25:6-7 – Remember,O YHWH, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O YHWH.
