Was There an 8th Day of Creation?

For most who read and believe scripture, the account of creation in Genesis is understood to have taken place in six days, the seventh day being that one which was set apart as a day of rest from all that YHWH made.

There are, however, some who do not believe that creation ceased on day six, but proceeded to day eight on which Adam, who is normally thought of as the first man, was created.

Those who have this view do not consider Adam and Eve to have been the first humans on Earth, but rather believe that those who were made on day six were a separate creation of human/ humanoid beings.

Often it is explained in terms of these first ones having been all the various races minus that one which was chosen to bring forth Messiah, who was Adam, created on day eight.

It would not be wise to choose either view simply on how the information impresses one at first thought.

Neither adhering to the more well accepted sixth day creation because of tradition, nor adopting the eight day view because of its novelty are good foundations for a clear answer.

Perhaps many who choose either one, having encountered both, do so on the grounds of one of those two reasons, but all interpretation should be tested thoroughly.

Support for the belief in an eighth day creation for Adam are often the following:

1. There is a clear distinction in the telling of the sixth day “humans” and the later telling of the creation of Adam. (Genesis 1 and Genesis 2)

2. The first people were created “in His image” both male and female, rather than Adam who was created alone (and androgynous) and later had a wife made for him out of his own flesh.

3. The first people were created, while Adam was “formed” out of the ground

4. There is a correlation between the first people created and the “beast of the earth” created on the sixth day.

5. The creation of the “eighth day” is evident in the pattern for all of human history – 7,000 years followed by the “eighth day” of the new creation.

6. The “breath of life” breathed into Adam is synonymous with a soul or spirit which the first created people did not have. The first people had YHWH’s likeness, the second had His spirit.

7. Cain mentioned “everyone” who found him would kill him for his crime against Abel and the only explanation for those others is that there were people created prior to Adam and Eve.

8. Cain found a wife and this wife must have been one of those of the people who had been made before Adam and Eve.

Knowing whether or not these points are a good support for the theory means addressing each one in the context of scripture, demanding that scripture make a probable, not just possible case for it.

The same is true of the conventional understanding. His word is not given in a way that requires us to guess. In the end, all correct interpretations will be those which add up to the simplest and most comprehensible answer according to literal language.

One Act or Two?

In Genesis chapter 1 there is a chronological description of creation, describing each day and what was made on that day. The first day describes the creation of the Earth, light, day and night. On the second day was the creation of the firmament of heaven. On the third day, dry land was made to appear and created plant life. On day four were the luminaries of heaven made, the stars, sun and moon. On day five were made sea creatures and birds. On day six, land animals were made, reptiles, mammals and finally people.

“Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind. Cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to its kind,” and it was so.

And ‘Elohiym made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good.

Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So ‘Elohiym created the man in His image, in the image of ‘Elohiym He created him, male and female He created them.”

– Genesis 1:24-27

The seventh day is then set apart for rest from all these things YHWH made, but after the description of the seventh day comes another telling of the creation of humans.

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living creature.

Yahuwah ‘Elohiym planted a garden eastward in ‘Eden and there He put the man whom He had formed”.

– Genesis 2:7, 8

Is this a continuation of the account proceeding in chronological order to the eighth day? There are two points which seriously hinder this being probable.

All other days described before this are done in such a precise way as to pointedly mention the beginning and ending of each “the evening and the morning” as in: “So the evening and the morning were Day One.”, also giving each day aclear number.

This is absent for an eighth day. There is no mention of an evening and a morning encompassing a certain day on which this occurred, nor is there any mention of “day eight”.

The second hindrance is an even more difficult one to justify. The proclamation of the end of the sixth day reads like this:

Thus the heavens and the earth and all (kol: whole, all, any every) the host of them were finished (kalah: end, to be finished, ceased). – Genesis 2:1

There is a clear statement that all things had been made at this point and that following this was cessation from the act of creation.

In His Image: Created or Formed?

Is there an indication that the first account describes a simultaneous “creation” of man and woman while the second describes a process of “forming” Adam alone from the clay?

The first account reads as follows:

“So ‘Elohiym created (bara: create) the man (adam) in His image, in the image of ‘Elohiym He created him, male and female He created (bara:create) them.”

– Genesis 1:27

Here there is the word “bara” which is pointed out as differing from the word used in the “forming” of Adam in Genesis 2:

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed (yatsar: mold, squeeze) the man (adam) of the dust of the ground”

– Genesis 2:7

If there is a point being made here referencing a different mode of creation employed between the first and second humans, it should by all means remain consistent. It is, however, not the case.

In Genesis 4 is the account of the birth of Seth, who is born in replacement of the slain Abel. We must be assured that Seth was the son of Adam and Eve, this being repeated throughout scripture many times, not the son of an earlier creation of humans.

Following this account is the use of the word “bara” (create) in reference to Adam and Eve as well as a reference to their creation “in His image”.

“And ‘Adam knew his wife again and she bare a son and called his name Sheth, “For ‘Elohiym,” she said, “has appointed me another seed instead of ‘Hebel whom Qayin slew.”

And to Sheth, to him also there was born a son and he called his name ‘Enowsh. Then men began to call upon the name of Yahuwah.

This is the book of the generations of man (adam) in the day that ‘Elohiym created mankind.

In the likeness of ‘Elohiym He made him, male and female He created (bara) them and blessed them and called their name ‘Adam in the day when they were created.”

– Genesis 4: 25, 26, Genesis 5:1, 2

Beast of the Earth connected to First Humans?

It is often believed among those who support an 8th day creation that the description of the creation of the “beast of the Earth” in Genesis is synonymous with those first humans created prior to Adam. This is also, many times, connected with the Beast of the Earth mentioned in Revelation.

Scripture gives the account of the creation of the “beast of the Earth” in Genesis like this:

“And ‘Elohiym made the beast (chay: life, living) of the earth according to its kind, cattle (behemah) according to its kind, and everything that creeps (remes:reptile) on the earth according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good. .”

– Genesis 1:25

There is perhaps little to be said of this as any connection to the creation of human or humanlike creatures. The word “chay” preceding a list of animals which were made on the sixth day could only logically be a collective statement before a more detailed list. It is not a word which is specific to any certain sort of living creature.

Where this connection is usually made, it is included within a doctrine that strongly supports the idea of a superior race and lesser peoples who are made fundamentally different by the manner of their creation.

It is often found in Christian identity and British Israelism cults and follows the ages old tradition of an idea which began in the rulership of nephilim over weaker humans.

Turned upside down, this idea is given a Christian face with which to tempt the pride of believers and alienate various ethnic groups from Christianity.

Is the Future New Heaven and Earth created on an “eighth day”?

It is said that one day is equal to a thousand years in the eyes of YHWH and though the precise days of creation are given in terms of 24 hour intervals, the whole of human history might be sensibly mapped out over a week of millennia.

It is completed, therefor, in the same time construct as the act of creation. It is theorized that if Adam was the new creation of the eighth day, his creation coincides with the new heaven and new earth to be created after the thousand year Sabbath of Messiah’s reign.

The difficulty with this idea is that the model we have been given to observe has no day eight. We are shown a seven day cycle, the last day of which is Sabbath and the following day is not day eight, but day one.

The concept of a day eight in the cycle is only applicable within an occult context where there is an emphasis on day eight being the day of the phoenix, the rebirth, the new age.

Sabbath, by it’s very nature, is special because it is the final touch on creation, it is the moment where the labors are enjoyed instead of toiled over, it is the sum reward of all things worked for.

When the millennial reign of Messiah ends, we should not expect and eternal rotation of the same patterns of time we now have. By being a new creation, even time itself will not be measurable by any present concept of it, that also, will be new. There can be no day eight in a new creation as eight proceeds from the prior series of numbers1-7 and is not, by definition, new.

Did Elohim impart His spirit to Adam but not to the first humans?

In Genesis 1:26 it is said that “man” is made in His image:

“Then ‘Elohiym said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

– Genesis 1:26

The later account describes the formation of Adam and how he became a living being:

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living creature.”

– Genesis 2:7

It is believed by many who see these as separate creations that this describes the difference between those first humans and Adam. While the first received the physical likeness of their maker, the second received His Spirit, indicated by the words “breath of life”.

The phrase “breath of life” and “living soul” is understood in this belief to refer to life in a spiritual or eternal sense. The words themselves, though, do not indicate a special or eternal sort of life which was exclusively given to Adam, but rather an animating force which is applicable to all things which live and breathe.

“And Yahuwah ‘Elohiym formed (yatsar: mold, squeeze) the man (adam) of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath (n’shamah: puff, wind, breath) of life (chay:life, living) and the man (adam) became a living (chay) soul (nephesh: breathing, living creature).

Yahuwah ‘Elohiym planted a garden eastward in ‘Eden and there He put the man (adam) whom He had formed (yatsar).”

– Genesis 2:7,8

Here “chay” is used, just as it is used earlier in Genesis to describe the sort of life which animals have. The word “nephesh”, which is often translated as “soul” cannot be understood in the sense of what people normally think of as a soul. It, also, is used to describe a creature, any creature, who is living and breathing as shown here:

“So ‘Elohiym created great sea creatures and every living thing (nephesh) that moves, with which the waters abounded according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind, and ‘Elohiym saw that it was good.”

– Genesis 1:21

Was the “everyone” Cain was afraid of an indication of multitudes of humans made before Adam?

Cain made this well known statement when he was cursed by YHWH to become a vagabond for the murder of his brother:

“And Qayin said to Yahuwah, “My punishment is greater than I can bear!
Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground.

I shall be hidden from Your face. I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.”

– Genesis 4:13, 14

Anyone or “every one”, as it is given in the KJV, is seen as indicating a great number of people. That indication is not literally present, but thought to implied by the way it is often used in the context of the English language.

The word is translated from “kol” which properly means, any, all or every. It does not indicate a number, either few or many, but simply describes any or every of whatever certain group is in question. It would make as much sense if Adam and Eve were the only two others as much as it would if there were multitudes of others.

Jubilees is a helpful text in considering the theory of the eighth day creation as a whole and it gives a good idea of how many people were on earth as produced through Adam and Eve at the time of this event.

Without including possible grandchildren, there would have been approximately eleven children of Adam and Eve alive at the time conservatively. All of these would perhaps feel justified in seeking due vengeance for their brother’s murder.

“And in the third week in the second jubilee she gave birth to Cain, and in the fourth she gave birth to Abel, and in the fifth she gave birth to her daughter Âwân.

And in the first (year) of the third jubilee, Cain slew Abel because (God) accepted the sacrifice of Abel, and did not accept the offering of Cain”

– Jubilees 4:1, 2

Where did Cain find a wife?

It is often pointed out that Cain could not have gotten a wife anywhere if there had not been “other” humans present who were not of his own parents. There is no reason to assume this, however.

The command against incest had not yet been given, and for a good reason, all who were available for marriage in the beginnings were siblings. Jubilees also offers insight to Cain’s wife:

“And Cain took ’Âwân his sister to be his wife and she bare him Enoch at the close of the fourth jubilee. And in the first year of the first week of the fifth jubilee, houses were built on the earth, and Cain built a city, and called its name after the name of his son Enoch.”

– Jubilees 4:9

The introduction of the theory of two creations of mankind is an important indicator of the motive, reasoning and philosophy behind it.

If it were intended as the interpretation we should receive from His word, its teaching should bear the fruit of that and be identifiable in both ancient Judaism (before Babylon) as well as the early Christian church.

Where it has sprung up, though is not in either of these places, but in the mind of a Jewish man who lived in Alexandria and who was much more a student of Greek pagan philosophy than Judaism.

Philo of Alexandria was known for his writings which attempted to meld together traditional Judaism and Greek philosophy.

It is an attempt which is not unlike the goal the Catholic church worked toward in melding together Christianity and pagan religious systems.

He interpreted nothing in scripture as literally true, but believed in a symbolic and allegoric interpretation which in essence means nothing, as no symbol is meaningful without a clear object or truth which it symbolizes.

If YHWH meant to give us riddles which only a few could understand, why then can we easily recognize the message present in His word that demonstrates how He uses simplicity and lowliness rather than worldly wisdom and high estate?

“Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies that You may silence the enemy and the avenger”.

-Psalm 8:2

Philo sought to”reveal” a cryptic and hidden meaning in the bible which was not there, the same snare which continually draws believers, even today, down a path of speculation which inevitably draws ever nearer a pagan religious system and away from a truth YHWH plainly gave.

One of these cryptic meanings he revealed to his followers was the theory of an eighth day creation, stating that the first men were made in a perishable physical image of their maker but the second were created as creatures with His spirit.

The very theory that makes it’s appearance in the beliefs of many seeking Christians today originated in a man who taught concepts which were derived out of Greek Mystery Religions.

We have a Creator who has given us a perfect representation of truth in a most logical, most common sense way. and I have never known anything written to have made as much sense as His word does when read just as it reads.

It is the persistent Author of Confusion, Satan, who seeks to make what was simple into something complicated, knotted and difficult to follow. There might be no better general rule of reading His word than “if it is not said, it was not meant.”.

Kabbalah: Seeking Truth or a Worthless Mystery

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 12/02/2010 by timenolonger

Hidden mysteries, secret knowledge and higher spiritual wisdom are very attractive concepts to many people.

There is a sense in many individuals that the current generation of the world has been deprived of information relating to spiritual truths, and so anything which both satisfies the excitement of possessing hidden spiritual knowledge and seems to fill in many gaps left by traditional views, is easily accepted.

Nothing exists in a non Christian’s world view which contradicts exploring spiritualism that is occult.

Ensnaring the non believer in veiled Luciferian doctrine is no challenge, but for the believer it should be evident what conflicts scriptural morality have with these same concepts.

Still, the enemy is not lazy and there is an outlet for occult practices which bears enough of a resemblance to Christianity or biblical themes to lure the untrained or unguarded believer into them.

Kabbalah has attracted many adherents from every sort of spiritual viewpoint, but it’s traditional connection to the use of old testament texts and themes makes it a very tempting philosophy for Christians, especially those seeking some deeper understanding of the Creator, which is lacking in most Churches, and which Kabbalah promises to provide.

It does not attract those Christians by way of appealing to a fervor to know Him and a better understanding to obey Him, though, as it would if there was a pure motive involved, and the practice of it delivered a righteous message.

It appeals to the base senses of pride in the fallen nature, offering something which is supposedly exclusive, and transcending knowledge only a ‘worthy soul’ could connect with and understand. This gives the adherents a certain sense of elite status to be a part of such a thing, all of which is simply a matter of empty pride.

Kabbalah or Qabbalah, meaning “receiving” is a mystical philosophy which supposes to explain the nature of Elohim, of His creation, the nature of souls, good, evil and the relationships between all these things.

Though the practice uses a highly symbolic interpretation of scripture, it more heavily relies on traditions which are extra-biblical and occult.

As it now exists, traditional “Judaic” Kabbalah only manifested as a recorded presence in the middle ages, but it’s adherents maintain that it’s teachings have come down orally from the beginning of human existence on Earth. It gradually became a more secret practice throughout history and is only receiving a more public awareness in these later days.

Truthfully, Kabbalah is nearly as old many who practice it say. The teachings of this philosophy are not fundamentally Jewish, nor have their beginnings in Israel or her patriarchs, though.

Regardless of the name it goes by, or the incorporation of Hebrew themes and names for the Creator, it began as the pagan opposition of everything YHWH stands for and admonished His people to live by.

Kabbalah so resembles Babylonian mystery religion because that is exactly what it is –

And has simply been absorbed into Jewish tradition during Israeli captivity in Babylon, contrary to all warnings YHWH has given His people to be separate from such things.

It is also as new as it is old, meaning that what is today newly popular, a trend toward believing in a spiritual outlook which regards human beings as divine and regards all creation as one and a part of whatever is viewed as “god” which is endowed with a feminine aspect , often termed “New Age” is very much what Kabbalah teaches.

Though disguised as monotheistic and based upon a belief in the One true Creator, Kabbalah views Him in ten personifications or “emanations” corresponding to four “worlds”.

The same principal is seen in the occult geomancy/ astrology practice of Feng Shui where there are ten deities corresponding to four “pillars” and is also seen in the Egyptian ennead – nine “gods and one “hidden” deity.

In the Kabbalistic tradition, the Creator caused a void in the act of creation which brought chaos into being. Self aware creation is formed as a result of this destructive event and thus beings who are able to commit willful sin. The Creator Himself is so shown as a being who both manifests disorder and is the sole origin of evil.

There is no “enemy”, no Satan, nothing which opposes the Creator, since He has authored the disorder Himself.

This explanation is directly contrary to the nature of YHWH, according to scripture, who is clearly described as purely righteous and the author of order, never chaos.

Kabbalah deals heavily in the use of gemantria, a practice by which hidden interpretations are derived out of scripture and other texts using a numbering system that correlates to each Hebrew letter, and in turn correlates to a specific meaning.

Without doubt, there is meaning in all reality and there is math at the base of all things He created and ordered. The danger of attempting to gain hidden knowledge by way of numerical divination is that this is an example of infants playing with highly technical and dangerous machinery.

YHWH does not hide the information He intends His creation to understand and if there be anything He does not intend to make known to us, our attempt to know it is futile and can only result in misinterpretation. That misinterpretation is fuel for the enemy to deceive us. Numerological divination has always been linked with the astrology and alchemy of numerous pagan belief systems.

The scriptures are very to the point in making it well understood that YHWH and the laws He put forth are the only acceptable standard and that Yahushua is the only acceptable redeemer to that standard which provides reconciliation for the sinner.

There is no question of the exclusivity of belonging to Him or the exclusivity of the available means we have to do so. That inherent truth is at least diluted in Kabbalistic understanding, if not completely abandoned.

Kabbalah has accepted, and been accepted by, a wide variety of belief systems including Eastern religions, Islam, Gnosticism and every manner of pagan religion. It is universalist fundamentally, as is the current religious trend leading into the New World Order, globalist “oneness” cult.

Those who have taught Kabbalah in the ancient past were at least aware that their practice was highly dangerous and that the influences they called upon in doing so were treacherous.

Though not wise enough to put away the abomination from them entirely, they had more wisdom than do the ignorant dabblers in this philosophy now who pursue it in foolish disregard for fire they play with.

Yahushua spoke of these masters of the mystery religion who sought far and wide to find one “worthy” pupil to train up in his demonic enlightenment.

“Woe to you, scribes and Parash (Pharisees), hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of the valley of Hinnom as yourselves.”

– Matthew 23:15

The sect of the Pharisees were that which brought Kabbalah out of Babylon and into Judaism.

Of the non biblical texts which Kabbalah uses and relies on, the Zohar is one of the most important. The Zohar was penned by Moses De Leon in the 13th century, though he credited the content to Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai. It would seem that Moses De Leon actually received the information by way of becoming a medium to a spirit who dictated or wrote the text.

Shimon bar Yohai, himself was a teacher of the mystery arts and had been well known for his many so-called miracles. It is held in rabbinical records that he requested the assistance of a demon to possess the daughter of the Roman Emperor so that he could then demonstrate his powers by casting it out of her.

The text of the Zohar is actually a group of books which contains mystical interpretation of the Torah. The interpretations bear a strong resemblance to more modern theosophy than Judaic religion.

It is here that one finds the model of the trinity which is ancient and pagan but not the least Christian. The Creator, according to the Zohar, has three archetypes including a feminine aspect and an incomprehensible aspect which is above human involvement or understanding.

If there is still any possible doubt that Kabbalah opposes all things which are aligned with His will, consider the Kabbalists use of the supposed Name of Elohim, known as Shemhamphorasch.

The selfish use of His Name to gain personal power is a transgression which dates back to the pre-flood era. The Watchers having taught men the Name and how it might be used in this way is exactly the purpose of the commandment YHWH gave to not take His name in vain.

The Letters derived from three verses in Exodus having 72 characters each are arranged in a precise pattern which spell out the names of 72 angels and 72 “names of god”.

These beings, though, should not be assumed to be benevolent servants of YHWH.

These names are well known in occult belief to be the names of 72 fallen angels sometimes claimed to have been controlled by Solomon and employed to build his temple, even though such an act would contradict every warning of scripture to have nothing to do with drawing upon spiritual power that is not His Holy Spirit.

Anton Lavey, founder of the Church of Satan promoted calling upon these same beings and their names can be identified in grimoirs used in witchcraft.

Tarot cards, as well, owe their arrangement and naming to these 72 fallen angels. The names, divided into pairs are attributed to a ten degree section of the zodiac or ten numbers, four court cards and 22 major arcana – 36 pairs.

Seeking truth has become a popular claim, yet it is not enough to simply seek out truth. The motive itself must be Truth. To immerse one’s life in the honoring and worshiping of false deities is the definition of “practicing a lie”.

If the knowledge sought is to the end of fulfilling a desire to simply gain understanding of what seems hidden or exclusive or powerful, the final result is acquiring a vain and worthless mystery that belongs to those who have nothing to do with truth.

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and image worshippers, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

– Revelation 22:14,15

“And now to the Watchers, who have sent you to pray for them, who in the beginning were in heaven, Say, In heaven have you been; secret things, however, have not been manifested to you; yet have you known a worthless mystery.

And this you have related to women in the hardness of your heart, and by that mystery have women and mankind multiplied evils upon the earth.”

– 1 Enoch 16: 2-4

“You worship what you do not know.

We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Yahudiym.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

Yahuwah is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

– John 4: 22-24

Baptisms of Water and Fire

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 10/17/2010 by timenolonger

In scripture is contained what could be called hyperdimensional truth.

Most are taught the contents of the bible in isolated pieces, each event, prophecy and commandment explained as its own disconnected component, either interpreted as a purely concrete or purely abstract.

The Word of YHWH, however, presents nothing in isolation. Since all laws defined by Him are present in all things at all times. Causes and effects can be shown to present themselves the same way in the same themes over and over.

Truth communicated biblically in one event extends far backward and forward from that one event, and connects infinitely to every other law upholding creation.

Beginning with one theme presented in scripture; baptism, it is possible to spend years, decades, even a life time and more, revealing all that it means, why it does and to what other themes it has direct connection to.

Though it would be impossible to show that here, it can be demonstrated in a small fraction of the whole.

All are aware of what baptism is – a full body immersion in water done as a sign of obedience in following Messiah. It shows in a symbolic way a cleansing by death to an old nature as one is lowered beneath water, and then a restoration to new life, as one is brought back up from the water.

The symbol does not stand alone though, and if it did, it would make little sense. It must re-enact a fundamental truth of sin, death, cleansing and new life or else any set of ritualistic motions would be just as good.

Catholicism practices infant baptism by sprinkling of water and yet that is by no means the biblical example given of what baptism is. There is a real set of criteria which baptism must be which is based on a solid foundation of truth that extends beyond just getting a body wet.

This begins with a man called “The Descent”. That is the literal way to say the name of an early patriarch who lived before the flood named Yered (Jared).

In his day, the descent of the rebel faction of Watchers occurred and they descended upon the summit of Mt. Hermon. They came in, introducing physical corruption to a creation which was already spiritually corrupted by the army of Satan.

When the flood came upon the Earth, it cleansed. It wiped from its surface the physical corruptions of creation which had been done in it. The survivors of the dry ground existed in one small ark carrying a man, his family and the preserved animal life with them.

In this event, the Earth underwent water baptism. It was a physical solution to a physical problem and yet also a foreshadowing of a final solution to a deeper, spiritual problem.

Hebrews, of which stock came the twelve tribes of Israel, descended from a man named Eber, his name being the root of the word “Hebrew”. Eber means to cross over, transition, to go from one side to the other.

In the north of the mountain upon which the Watchers came down, a river flows which is called “Descender”, that is “Yarden”, or the Jordan river.

The Jordan borders Israel on the East and flows into the Dead Sea. This is the river which was crossed by the Israelites who came into the land which was promised them by Elohim.

Those people of the “crossing over” (Hebrews) were chosen to pass over the “descending” (Jordan), which was itself water.

In this people was kept alive the Messianic promise a Deliverer who would remove corruption from the Earth.

Though fallen angels had both corrupted spirit and flesh, He would build a bridge to His redeemed so that they might cross over from corruption into Life.

Water baptism is not the end of the process though. As it is said here:

“Yahuchanan (John) spoke, saying to all, “I indeed immerse you in water.

But One mightier than I is coming whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.

He will immerse you in the Sacred Spirit and fire.

His winnowing fan is in His hand and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor and gather the wheat into His barn.

But the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.””

– Luke 3:16,17

Water baptism is an act of faith, doing so shows trust in that even though one still inhabits the corrupted world, they trust on a promise and enter into new life which is not outwardly evident yet, but is yet to be fully manifested at a future time. As Noah entered the ark with his family and passed through the flood, not to be delivered into present perfection, but to trust in Elohim for a future.

Baptism of fire is the end solution.

While water washes the outer surface of anything, fire purifies a thing thoroughly throughout. As water washed off the physical corruption from Earth, there yet comes a time when the whole creation will be purged entirely by fire and both corruption of physical and spiritual natures will cease to be.

“But the day of the Master will come as a thief in the night in which the skies will pass away with a great noise and the elements will melt with fervent heat.

Both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner ought you to be in sacred conduct and piety, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Yahuwah, because of which the skies will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?”

– 2 Peter 3:10-12

Fire is shown to be a spiritual influence, the literal substance of spirit even.

“…Who walks on the wings of the wind, Who makes His messengers spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.”

– Psalm 104:4

As Earth and earthly physical influences are “watery”

“…by the word of Yahuwah the skies were of old and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world then existing perished, being flooded with water”

– 2 Peter 3:5,6

It is within the context of the reasons for baptism which explains why John conducted his water bapstisms in the Jordan and why Yahushua Himself was baptized there.

The Jordan is a physical representation of both the source of the problem and the solution. Followers of Yahushua are also spoken of “crossing over” the Jordan in order to be healed by Him.

Yahushua is the bridge which we cross over, rescuing souls from mortality and spirits from eternal death, passing over all impurity which is to be given over to such destruction.

Forgiveness 101

Posted in 01 : The Chief Cornerstone with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 10/09/2010 by timenolonger

I’m accustomed to discussing the strange and incredible, the weird and the wonderful… the lesser spoken of topics of the bible.

Basic subject matters, like forgiveness and its place in the life of believers, have been well covered by multitudes of Christians and are fairly self explanatory in the plain text of scripture. In spite of that… I’ve come to realize that the basic things aren’t always so… basic.

As much as forgiveness is one of the central themes of our faith, it has, like many other biblical subject matters, suffered from a great deal of misunderstanding.

No believer is ever likely to have adverse feelings about their own sins being forgiven by YHWH and their fellow believers. When we are on the receiving end of mercy… it’s rarely difficult to accept.

Where it becomes fraught with difficult emotion is when we must do the forgiving.

In spite of the clarity of scripture on the subject, who has not found themselves trying to weasel around the command to forgive others when the offense done to us seems so overwhelmingly wrong and hurtful… especially if the offender shows no remorse?

The reactionary internal resistance to the idea of forgiving a great wrong is so overpowering, that at once it can concoct a long list of justifications for refusal to do so.

The Justifications:

Magnitude of Offense: “Forgiveness is one thing… but who could forgive this?”

The most common counteraction to forgiving another is the sheer weight of the wrong that was done. Some wrongs that are done to us really are incredibly vile… others just feel that way. The emotional response between the two are not really very different… whether we have really suffered a major blow or the blow is simply perceived that way in relativity to a person’s own experiences, either can result in such a depth of hurt and resentment that forgiveness seems impossible.

Lack of Remorse: “They aren’t even sorry!”

We can all attest to the fact that it’s much easier to forgive a wrong when the wrongdoer is willing to apologize and admit that they are guilty of an offense. Many times that doesn’t happen… sometimes it does and yet it seems insincere. Whether right or wrong, if we perceive our offender to be without remorse for their actions it can make us feel justified in not forgiving where forgiveness has not been requested, or not been requested to our satisfaction.

Repeat Offender: “Shame me once… shame on you… shame me twice… shame on me.”

Sometimes we have those people in our lives that we try very hard to get along with… forgive them their faults on numerous occasions and yet they continue to disappoint us. There comes a point when we want to ask ourselves how long we’re willing to be a “door mat”. Patience becomes exhausted and we simply want to give up on the individual.

Semantics: “I’ll forgive, but I won’t forget.”

Unless an individual is suffering from some manner of genuine cognitive disorder, forgetting is not realistically an option. What we really mean when we contrive this justification is that we really don’t want to forgive even though we’re well aware of our duty to do so. This usually comes at a point of internal conflict between the conviction to do what is right and the emotional resistance against it.

What the Bible has to Say:

As mentioned earlier… the Bible is as clear as crystal on the matter of forgiveness… it is perhaps one of those rare biblical topics that are so basically defined in a point-blank way that little if any doctrinal debate has ever taken hold of it.

Even though there’s not much getting around the point, nor any wiggle room for interpretation, anyone who has had to do some forgiving they don’t want to do knows how quickly the recall of this subject can be suddenly omitted from one’s thoughts.

The power of the verses dealing with our forgiveness of others is such that it backs us right up against the wall of conviction immediately. There’s no room to turn around and run, no quarter given to fight back… and it’s incredibly uncomfortable to try. It’s also the very remedy we need when we start justifying a non forgiving attitude. We require that stinging discomfort of conscience in the face of a truth we don’t like.

Scripture has an answer to every justification we can come up with. When the struggle is with the magnitude of an offense… we need only to compare what has been done to ourselves to what we have each been responsible for that resulted in the crucifixion of our Savior.

Have any of us ever hurt like He did on the cross? Yet we are freely offered His forgiveness.

“Therefore, as chosen of Yahuwah, sacred and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If anyone has a complaint against another, even as the Anointed forgave you, so you also must do.”
– Colossians 3:12,13

“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as Yahuwah in the Anointed forgave you.”
– Ephesians 4:32

And if there is a lack of remorse by our offenders…

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in the sky forgive your trespasses.”
– Mark 11:25,26

“Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you and from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.”
– Luke 6: 28-31

“Then Yahushua said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
– Luke 23:34

And if we deal with a repeat offender….

“Then Keph came to Him and said, “Master, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Yahushua said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
– Matthew 18:21,22

“And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
– Luke 17:4

And if we are tempted to hold a grudge anyway…

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your celestial Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
– Matthew 6: 14,15

“Judge not and you shall not be judged. Condemn not and you shall not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.”
– Luke 6:37

Since there is no question that believers need to forgive… no matter what… the only question left is “How?”.

Forgiveness can at times seem virtually impossible. The very sight or mention of someone who has done great personal offense can elicit extreme feelings of repulsion and anger and pain. How does one fight through such intense feelings to get to a place where forgiveness is possible? They don’t…

The command to forgive is a command to make a decision and act on it… it is not a command to tame our own wild emotions until we feel only good things towards our offenders.

The forgiveness that we enjoy from our Creator is not defined by His abstract warm feelings towards us… we would never benefit from that in a practical way.

We benefit through His act of redeeming us according to that forgiveness, and through the blessings He imparts on us as forgiven individuals.

In the same manner our good feelings towards our offenders… even if they are possible… are useless to them in any practical way. Our act of forgiveness must extend the same open hand of generosity that we receive from our Creator.

We have a duty to treat them with the same respect we want to be treated with, the same charity we want to receive, and the same concern for their well being that we would like extended to us.

It may seem strange or insincere to take those benevolent actions without “feeling it”… but in their proper place, feelings will conform to fit our obedience to YHWH… if the act of obedience is never carried out, our feelings will surely never prompt us to it.

Who Benefits by Forgiveness?

It is often argued by Christians that the act of forgiveness benefits the one forgiving most by way of releasing anger, resentment and hostility… an “unburdening” effect and that is presented as the motivation for believers to forgive.

If you’ve ever tried to live by that philosophy, though, you’ll find it very disappointing. You will not magically shed your emotions of anger and resentment as you one day make some internal statement to yourself like “I forgive this person.”.

Nor is an act of forgiveness ever done genuinely which is done simply to benefit self. Our forgiveness obtained through Messiah benefits Us… and our forgiveness of others should benefit Them.

We benefit in forgiving by doing what is obedient to YHWH, which is always beneficial, not because we have relieved ourselves of stressful emotion. Once we obey… then YHWH is able to begin to heal those stressful emotions so long as we continue in obedience.

Should it all go back to the way it was?

One of the trickiest issues in forgiveness is knowing whether or not to reinstate an offender to their previous position in one’s life. If an act of forgiving involves demonstrated good will toward the offender, does that automatically mean they should be offered the same trust they once might have freely been given?

Forgiveness does not equate with trust, and the decision to return someone who has wronged us to a former trusted position can depend greatly on what position they held in our lives, and what the manner of their wrong was.

A parent should naturally forgive their child of disobedience when they sneak out of the house and take the car for a spin… but they should not automatically trust that child to be left with the car keys after that action.

An unfaithful spouse should be forgiven of their crimes and yet that does not mean the faithful spouse is obligated to continue in a marriage that has been compromised.

An employee who gets drunk on the job should be forgiven of their bad decision by their boss… and yet that employer is within his rights to not trust his worker to continue in his employment.

What should be considered in a decision to return someone to a former position of trust is a consideration of what is practical versus what is purely emotional (e.g. Am I denying that trust out of spite, or because there is a serious matter at stake if the person is not trustworthy in the future?)… as well as consideration of a repentant attitude… a sincerely repentant person is less likely to repeat their offense if reinstated to a position of trust.

A Second Chance…

We’ve all been given a second chance… for that matter a third and fourth… etc. When one who has wronged us genuinely seeks a second chance to prove their trustworthiness to us, we should all consider how many chances we have been afforded by our heavenly Father.

We’ve all been grateful for those second chances, and so in an effort to do for others what we would want for ourselves, those requests should be honored if at all possible in a practical sense. This might take time and be extended to the individual one small step of trust at a time… but trust can be rebuilt.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Their Eyes Were Opened: The Mechanism of The Fall

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 09/23/2010 by timenolonger

“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate.

She also gave to her husband with her and he ate.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they knew that they were naked and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.”

– Genesis 3:6,7

In these words of Genesis is contained the account of the fall of man, the point at which mankind ceased to be in perfect harmony with their Creator and ceased to be endowed with innate everlasting life.

As believers, it is not difficult to understand the moral cause and effect which took place here. Humanity was only responsible to one command from their Elohim, no other forbidden thing had been laid on them to avoid. In their act of disobedience, heeding the misleading words of Satan, they transgressed this one law and so sin entered in upon human existence.

The consequences of this one act of disobedience were multiple and serious.

The greatest of these was the spiritual rift which was created between man and his Maker. No longer could there be direct communion between them, no longer could humans be at peace with Him and receive His close and personal fellowship. They were extracted from this relationship and cast into a state of detachment where they could, from then on, only approach Him from a distance in prayer.

Mortality came as well.

Removed from the close presence they enjoyed to the One source of life and the opportunity to be blessed with the fruit from the tree of life, the human body would inevitably perish. From dust they were created and so to dust return.

The Earth itself was alienated from those given dominion over it. Once it yielded all man would ever need and much more without cost or labor, but sin destroyed this perfect relationship which YHWH had established for them as well.

Now Earth would not respond as the domain of mankind, but instead respond as the domain of the evil one who had tempted them.

These are the causes and the effects, but there is much more to understand in the mechanics of how these causes produced these effects.

It is the case that things of a spiritual nature are usually understood only in very abstract ways.

It is strange, perhaps to consider that there is not truly any separation between the physics of material existence and the mechanics of a spiritual one.

It is reasonable, though, that One law governs all things, and no spiritual event occurs which does not also produce quantifiable physical effects in a creature, such as man, who is equal parts body and spirit.

There is an answer to how the human body became subject to death and how the body produced the effects of spiritual exile within itself as a result of sin.

There is an answer to how the earth and the properties which govern its habitable environment were altered to become adverse to survival.

I will attempt to provide an explanation for these things here.

Deep within the human brain, between its two hemispheres, is a tiny organ called the pineal gland. It’s shape resembles that of a small pine cone. Being only about the size of a grain of rice, it is nonetheless a very important part of the body’s endocrine system.

This gland, is actually an eye. It is a small eye lacking some of the component parts of the visual eyes, yet an eye just the same, having a rudimentary retina and the ability to perceive light, though not in the same visual sense as the outward eyes.

The Pineal gland produces the very vital substances, serotonin and melatonin as well as Dimethyltryptamine under specific conditions.

We must recall the account in Genesis which stated “Then the eyes of both of them were opened”.

Though it is normally understood in a very metaphorical sense, that their eyes were opened, meaning that they had become aware of things which before they were not, there is good evidence to suggest this verse is much more literal.

It has been believed in many diverse cultures throughout human history that the pineal gland, also termed the “third eye” is the physical location in the body where the spirit joins to it, and where the physical senses can receive stimuli from spiritual sources.

Some species of animals have external “third eyes”, called a parietal eye which have similar physical functions as the human pineal gland. T
This organ, as the pineal gland, regulates circadian rhythm and is photo-receptive, though it is so on a visual level which the pineal gland is not.

This organ is a little understood receptor of stimuli which does not fall into the categories of the usual physical senses as well. It aids in the detection of predatory threats, for example, using a method of sense which is not visual, auditory or tactile.

The monoamine neurotransmitter ‘serotonin’, which is produced by the pineal gland, has several functions, the most well known of which is that it is responsible for producing the sensation of peace and well being.

Regulation of the mechanism of digestive tract movement is also a function of serotonin. Memory, the capacity to learn, sense of mood and appetite are all effected by serotonin levels.

When there is a deficit of serotonin, a person can, as a result, feel depressed, have digestive impairment and show an inability to comprehend and retain information.

Comparing this to the effects of sin in an individual’s life and what that results in as extension of their conscience look similar.

Guilt results in a loss of peace, a lack of appetite, physical feelings of illness in the “gut”, distraction and often times a subconscious effort to suppress the memory of having done wrong.

Drugs we refer to as “psychedelic” are understood as being drugs which open channels of awareness which are not normally active.

Psilocybin, LSD and mescaline are agonists for serotonin receptors – that is they are substances which are suited to binding at specific receptors, and mimic the action of the natural process which serotonin provides.

It is no secret that those who use substances such as these do so in order to have experiences which are “spiritual” in nature.

Activating the brain in a way that massive amounts of serotonin might creates an effect on the brain that puts it in closer connection with spiritual stimuli.

Certain so-called antidepressant drugs of the Serotonin re-uptake inhibitor class (SRI’s) are supposedly designed to prevent the re-uptake of serotonin out of the brain by the natural physical process and thus allow the substance to remain in the brain longer. This is claimed to produce the effect of fighting off depression, causing a sense of peace instead.

The danger of using these drugs is that after a time of use, the serotonin levels re-uptake at a greater pace instead, forcing the patient to switch medications until they have run out options – at which point the natural function of the pineal gland has been so reduced that the end result is much worse than the beginning.

Melatonin, the second major substance produced by the pineal gland is a most interesting one. This chemical controls the circadian rhythm of the body, it regulates the daily “time cycles”. It also functions as the most powerful antioxidant in nature, protecting nuclear and mitochondrial DNA from damage.

Melatonin is secreted by the pineal gland in darkness and is often called the “hormone of darkness”.

Blue spectrum light is responsible for inhibiting its production during the daylight hours, and then production peaks in the middle of the night.

Though many forms of antioxidants exist in nature which can be processed by the body and used through the consumption of foods which contain them, no other antioxidant has the perfect ability to halt damage to DNA which melatonin does.

Whereas other antioxidants go through what is called redox cycling, a process of reduction and oxidation repeatedly, melatonin terminates to an unusable form once oxidized. This makes it ideal because it cannot break down and conversely oxidize instead of reduce oxidation, as other antioxidants eventually can.

The deficit of Melatonin is the answer to aging. The curse of aging and death can be directly linked to the “eye’ (pineal gland) which was exposed to sin in the fall of man.

Without the continual degradation of DNA, it would forever repair itself, and the body would naturally produce those substances, like melatonin, which prevent any damage being done to it. There would conceivable be no injury which could not be repaired.

Melatonin aids the immune system as well, and so under perfect conditions no pathogen would have the ability to defeat the fully functioning immune system supported by ideal melatonin production.

This substance also tells time, it is responsible for the biological clock in living things. It records the passing of days, seasons and years in the physical body, and the body responds by continually breaking down in response to the passing of time.

It is a fact of great interest that melatonin is titled “the hormone of darkness” because it was in ignorance of sin and evil, in that state of innocence that mankind had all that they needed within their bodies to be eternally well.

It was not until a false light was shined in their “eyes” that they became subject to death.

Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT is a substance produced by the pineal gland only at moments of extreme spiritual interaction.

This chemical is produced at the moment of birth and the moment of death of a human being, as well as at points in time which are approaching death or an induced altered state of consciousness.

It is recognized medically as a “hallucinogen” It is often ingested in forms which are found in certain plants to obtain artificial states of spiritual connectedness.

People who have taken DMT report events of contact between themselves and extra-dimensional beings.

This is the hormone which opens the channel to the spiritual realm, which, if in its proper function, would produce the ability to perceive the presence of the Creator and commune with Him.

Artificial means to induce such effects in this fallen state will instead form a rift through which unclean spirits may make contact with human subjects.

The so-called “opening” of the eye which Satan had promised was merely opening the eye to the knowledge and the burden of sin.

The consequence was the closing of the intended function of the eye, a means by which the spiritual presence of YHWH and the physical existence of man were in peaceful communion with each other.

At birth, the pineal gland functions at the closest it will ever function to ideal in mortal life. As the human body matures toward puberty, the function of the pineal gland begins to drastically degrade by calcification, until near death it is nearly completely hardened.

It is then, very interesting to understand that the immediate reaction of Adam and Eve after they sinned against YHWH was to become aware of their sexuality.

With the sudden reduction of melatonin at puberty, the body reacts by becoming sexually mature. Adam and Eve had the innocence of children and remained naked without shame until this process was initiated in them after their fall.

What people should be aware of in this world, where there are powers that are not only interested in destroying their physical lives, but also their spiritual lives, is that many of the adulterating chemicals which are forced on the public are designed to destroy the pineal gland in particular.

Fluoride is one of the best examples of this. Sodium fluoride has the effect of rapidly calcifying the pineal gland, and by doing so, not only shortens life span and effects several major body functions, but also creates a spiritually blinding effect.

When scriptures speak of “hardened hearts”, we might reasonably understand that this is directly related to a literal hardening process of an organ designed to conduit spiritual stimuli into the mind.

Consider these Hebrew words:

peniyel – the face (presence) of El

Used in the verse here: And Ya’aqob called the name of the place Penuw’el, “For I have seen ‘Elohiym face to face and my life is preserved.”
– Genesis 32:30

leb – “heart” used to mean the center of something, figuratively for feelings or intellect, from:

lebab- to be enclosed

Remember that the pineal gland lays within the center or the “heart” of the brain and is enclosed by it.

And Yahuwah said to Mosheh, “When you go back to Mitsrayim, see that you do all those wonders before Par’oh that I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.”
– Genesis 4:21

The curse of the Earth can also be directly linked to the function of the pineal gland.

The daily fluctuations of the geomagnetic field have been shown to have dramatic effects on pineal gland function and its ability to produce it’s vital substances.

The magnetosphere of earth serves a very important role in shielding the earth from charged particles of solar wind.

If the basic properties which govern the Earth’s magnetosphere had been altered, it would directly affect the function of the pineal gland in living creatures, and even effect what types of foods they were able to digest and process, as well as what types of food plants the Earth would most readily grow.

His design is an amazing one and the adventure of understanding it never truly ends.

The Spiritual Truth of Human Chimerism

Posted in 02 : The Truth Is Out There... with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 08/11/2010 by timenolonger

This site has had discussions on angels which interbred with humans, creatures which are part man and part beast, spirits of nephilim which roam the earth and evil entities which can possess a body.

All these things can seem strange to those who have not ever heard of them, and even seem unbelievable when compared to what is usually believed, and taught as a reality which must never be questioned.

Now I will discuss something which, though is rare and strange, science admits to being a reality. Science does not, however have any answers to the spiritual questions which come with the condition, and there are some very interesting spiritual questions to be answered about it.

When chimeras have been mentioned here before, this term has applied to unnatural, genetically manipulated creatures which are physically the product of more than one species.

Human chimera with brown and hazel eyes

In human, medical terms though, there is a condition which is also called chimerism which is perhaps one of the most bizarre abnormalities which can occur to otherwise normal, unborn human beings.

It is maybe difficult enough to live one life in one lifetime in this confused world. Imagine, if you are able, living two lives in one lifetime within your one body.

The life of a human chimera begins as fraternal twins, siblings which have developed from two normal egg cells fertilized by two normal sperm.

At a point early in the development of the twins, in the zygote stage, one twin begins to absorb the body of the second twin. This does not result in the destruction of the absorbed twin, as one might expect, but results in two people becoming one body.

There is a very high probability that a human chimera will never be diagnosed as such unless there is a reason to do genetic testing on more than one part of the body.

The twins are now intermingled with each other, resulting in one whole body which is made of two distinctly different sets of genes.

It is possible, then, that the heart belong to one twin while the kidneys belong to the other.

Or that the scalp and hair of both are scattered like patchwork on the head.

Or that one eye belongs to one and is a certain color, while the other belongs to the second and is a different color.

It is even possible that one eye be a mixture of both individuals and be split between two colors.

One of the more obvious signs of chimerism are pigmentation irregularities that show up as two shades of skin complexion, which take on a pattern much like a tabby striped cat. When they occur on the skin they are called Blaschko’s lines.

Blaschko's Lines

The strangest of all instances of chimerism is where the twins are of opposite sexes. This can result in the rare condition of true hermaphrodism. It is possible for either sex to manifest physically in the outward appearance, or both.

The internal organs are often split between the two, and the condition is likely to be unknown if the outward physicality appears to be all one sex, unless there is a cause to investigate internally – such as surgically intervening to bring down what would be expected to be an undescended male reproductive gland, only to find a female counterpart and a remnant of a partial uterus.

It is possible for mixed gender chimeras to be fully fertile as one or the other sex, in spite of having the partial anatomy of the opposite sex.

In recorded cases of Chimerism there have been instances of women giving birth to children who were genetically not their own, but upon further investigation were found to be the children of a sibling (the absorbed second twin) due to the reproductive organs of the “mother” actually belonging to her twin sister.

The question of the spirit is then obviously, is there one spirit, or are there two spirits in a chimera’s body? Is this one or two actual people?

Blaschko's Lines

Most believers would agree that the spirit of a child is imparted to them in conception. As soon as the egg becomes fertilized by a sperm and the cell division begins, there is a spirit present in that tiny, undeveloped potential body.

If then a spirit is present at the moment of conception, it must also be present at the point when two fraternal twins become fused into one anatomy in the instance of chimerism.

There is no reason to assume that one of the two spirits would depart as if one twin had died, because it has not died. Both twins remain equally alive, but simply joined.

It is reasonable to conclude that chimeras literally are two people who have two spirits within the space of one body, though genetically occupying different parts of it.

One might assume that this would create a situation in which two streams of thought were battling in one body, and to some extent this might be actually true.

Chimeras, though rarely detected, have been known to be diagnosed with disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Those diagnoses though, are only superficial observation of symptoms, they do not reflect a cause – and science being what it is, it is not approved to suggest that, instead of a disorder, they simply have two spiritual consciousness working in one brain.

It is then, maybe another obvious question to be answered as to what might become of two spirits in one body after death. Is it possible for one spirit to become saved and the other not? Perhaps it is possible.

One might seek diligently to follow Him and yet there are moments of repulsion to that seeking. Each train of thought remaining mysterious to the other as the chimera might not understand that these ideas do not all originate in one spirit. It would be possible then, that one spirit is redeemed and enters into eternal life while the other perishes.

Two redeemed spirits in one body, of course, would have a future to look forward to in which they would finally be resurrected to enjoy individual, unique and incorruptible bodies of their own and finally get to greet their sibling face to face whom they had only ever seen in the mirror.

Rephaim : The Reincarnate Possessors

Posted in 06 : Possessing Spirits with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 06/08/2010 by timenolonger

The subject of reincarnation is rarely delved into by followers of Yahushua past the point of delegating it to a category of false occult or pagan belief. While there is no sound biblical evidence for the occurrence of reincarnation of the human spirit (though some may disagree)… there is some interesting, if rarely discussed, explanations in scripture for the prevalence of a belief in reincarnation throughout pagan cultures from the earliest to the most recent.

There is a mistake to be made in a complete, willful ignoring of what pagan belief systems held as true, in that these records cannot be brushed off as complete fabrications of imagination born in ignorant and godless minds.

At one point in the far past, all humanity had one common record of events from which derived a variety of partial truths or biased views of true events perverted thus by fallen spirits during a lost time, when no man personally recalled the beginning and no man had yet been given the testimony of the Creator.

When so much has been craftily translated into and out of the original languages which the testimony of His Truth was given… we have arrived in a time when it is simply not enough to read a KJV (or other English version of scripture) and come to the conclusion that all that is recorded therein is precisely what was written.

With fairly little effort, any person can use a concordance of original languages to better gain a picture of what has been given to men to know… before the same fallen powers which have constructed half truths all along, came in to undermine His message.

Buddhist Ancestor WorshipWhat can be gained from a mature study of pagan beliefs are the mile markers of history that, though defaced, can be used to lead one to seek a scriptural answer to the truth of how those subjects really entered upon the world scene.

In this day we hear quite a bit from the New Age community on “ascended masters”. This concept is a very old one but the term and it’s present popularity began with Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, founder of Theosophy and the Theosophical Society.

The basic idea of this belief is that these ascended masters have lived successive lives in multiple incarnations on the earth, gaining knowledge as they proceed to a point of great enlightenment at which time they are considered masters and teachers of humanity.

It is further believed in certain occult circles that at the point at which a reincarnated soul reaches this status they are able to retain and recall the memories of their various past lives.

The “Illumined” Luciferian or Illuminati concept of a Moon Child ties in closely with the concept of ascended mastery. A Moon Child ritual is a very dark and high level occult ritual which requires blood sacrifice, the goal of which is to call into a prenatal infant, a demonic entity which will not just possess, but displace the original spirit, and live out a mortal life in the body.

It is necessary to clarify that the use of the term “demonic” here is to refer to a nephil spirit, a human/angel hybrid who has died and whose spirit is free-roaming on the earth. 1 Enoch gives some information on spirits of this kind:

“The spirits of the giants shall be like clouds, which shall oppress, corrupt, (cause to) fall, contend, and bruise upon the earth. They shall cause lamentation. No food shall they eat; and they shall be thirsty (for a habitat); they shall be concealed (invisible), and those spirits shall rise up against the sons of men (torment), and against women; for they come forth (from them) during the days of slaughter and destruction (the flood or deluge). And as to the death of the giants, wheresoever their spirits depart from their bodies, let their flesh, that which is perishable, be without judgment. Thus, they shall perish, until the day of the great consummation of the great world. ”
– 1 Enoch 15

Aleister Crowley, infamous Satanist and Freemason, wrote on the Moon Child stating that the ritual ensured the “perfect” spirit for the body, likening spirits who await their reincarnation to butterflies and in his book entitled Moonchild, the villa where the ritual was performed to create Moon Children was named The Butter-fly-net.

The CIA projects Monarch and MKultra created Moonchildren and made the connection between bloodline and the spirits which were obtained to inhabit the bodies.

As with various ancients traditions on reincarnation, the spirit which reincarnates into the prescribed body must do so in a body which belongs to the same hereditary line… hence Moonchildren were normally made of children who belonged to one of the “blue-blood” families.

A very curious creature is named in Old Testament scripture which has gone by the wayside to be identified as simply one more tribe of heathens with which Israel had disagreements.

Modern scholars of Old Testament scripture are much perturbed by the definition and etymology of the name of this people called the Rephaim. It would seem, perhaps at first glance of a few uses of the name in a KJV bible, that they are, indeed, just a tribe of people.

Genesis 14:5 “And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim”

Genesis 15:18-20 “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,”

It occurs after these references though, no less than 17 times, that Rephaim or Rapha is translated “giant/s”… here are a few examples:

2 Samuel 21:18 “And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.”

1 Chronicles 20:4 “And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.”

Deuteronomy 2:11 ” Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.”

Deuteronomy 2:20 “(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;”

Joshua 17:15 “And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.”

Perhaps most strange of all is that this word is also translated as “dead” on several occasions. Instances where Rephaim/Rapha are translated as “dead” are listed below:

Job 26:5 “Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.”

Psalms 88:10 “Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah. ”

Proverbs 2:18 “For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.”

Proverbs 9:18 “But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.”

Proverbs 21:16 “The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.”

The Hebrew definitions of Rephaim, it’s root and offshoots are:

rapha/ raphah – to mend, cure or thoroughly make whole…
or as a noun (rapha): a ghost, the dead…
or as a noun (raphah) something invigorating, a giant
or as an adjective (raphah): feeble, idle, still
Rephuw: cured
Rephach: sustain

It becomes incredibly confusing to attempt to reconcile each of these definitions to one root, and especially confusing to understand how each of these ideas should be applicable to one group of ancient people, incorporating both the ideas of something dead: a ghost, something feeble or ethereal, with something which seems opposite of that: the concept of healing and revitalizing – while the definition of “giant” is thrown in besides.

Taking all this into consideration with some clues that have come down from the culture itself though, begins to fit the pieces of the puzzle together.

Scriptural text is not the only historical mention of Rephaim… these people were also discussed by Phoenicians and Ras Shamra Ugaritic texts. A warning against raiding a Sidonian king’s tomb reads “May there be no resting-place for you with the Rephaim”.

Phoenicians clearly understood rephaim as being spirits which inhabited the netherworld. Ugaritic texts explains them as being divine in nature though not precisely “gods”. They are also described as a warlike people.

It was customary that they prayed to the rephaim, brought food offerings and flowers in hopes of benefiting their dead loved ones, a practice which is identical with ancestor worship, and we can safely conclude that is what it was. (Pictured below, a Korean Jesa Altar)

Korean Jesa AltarThe Rephaim, in the understanding of those cultures, were partially divine, ancestral spirits. It becomes then, crystal clear, why YHWH made a point of letting it be known to His people that He is an Elohim of the living and not of the dead.

The hybrid offspring of rebel angels and mortal women were born to physical bodies, having earthly mothers, but the spirits of these creatures, once their bodies perished, were not like the human spirit – which, once deceased, proceeded to a “holding place” (whether a restful one or a tormenting one). Neither were their spirits beholden to the natural process of mortal life followed by a judgment.

In Hebrews 9:27 it is recorded for mankind:

“And as it is appointed for men to die once but after this the judgment,”

…but for nephil spirits: “… And as to the death of the giants, wheresoever their spirits depart from their bodies, let their flesh, that which is perishable, be without judgment.” – 1 Enoch 16:1

Their judgement awaits the great judgment at the end of all ages, until then… they roam the earth, and it is possible for them to take up incarnation over and over, in physical bodies which descend from their own hereditary line.

Understanding this, it then becomes clear why a word or words in Hebrew describing one group of people should encapsulate the ideas: giant, (a product of angelic and human procreation) ghosts, (disembodied spirits who have lived perishable, flesh lives) and healing or revitalization (an ability to reincarnate).

The Rephaim, then, are those particular nephil spirits who return successively to live multiple mortal lives, becoming the highly esteemed “Ascended Masters” of the New Age movement.

It is not hard to imagine what great influence embodied ancient spirits like these can have on modern society as a whole and what important part they can play in helping to achieve a NWO agenda… it is also not difficult to figure out why YHWH warned His people to never have anything to do with communication with the dead.

Although it is flatly assumed by many that no nephil can be saved, I would have to utterly disagree just by the mere fact that at this point in history there is very likely no pure human left on earth.

It is statistically probable that since the time of Yahushua (the last point in time a pure human lineage would have been entirely necessary) that due to the greater ability to travel about the world in hours rather than months… the whole world has become a melting pot of lineages.

If no person whose bloodline was adulterated with fallen angelic bloodlines was able to be redeemed, we might well have a whole world of unsalvageable souls.

This is not to say that I believe that every person who has any trace of non-human blood is capable of future incarnations by any means, rather that is the result of being a high percentage of angelic ancestry (50/50 or 75/25 where the lineage comes from the paternal grandfather).

I would also venture to add that if any half-angelic nephil were to repent during the course of a mortal life, they would possibly no longer continue to re-enter further physical lives (as the loss of memory from one physical life to the next might negate the decision to repent).

Would this be some “unfair” advantage to nephilim? No… I don’t think so… in a creature who was so thoroughly predisposed to evil at their first conception and must undergo (more or less) the entire learning process over and over again… it would remain much more difficult for one of these to come to a knowledge and acceptance of the truth, having an ever present influence of fallen spirits, if anything, the chances of repentance would decrease with each reincarnation.
